    This is a park located in Maiokacho, Totsuka Ward in Yokohama City which makes use of the natural woody hills and surrounding fields to create a park abundant in nature. The historic house in the park, Koyato no Sato, is a preserved from the Meiji period that is open to the public for viewing. There are many wild birds, insects, flora and fauna in this park. Many visitors come to enjoy the hiking or bird watching.

    Hayama Shiosai Park, built on the grounds of a former Imperial villa in the town of Hayama, Miura County, Kanagawa Prefecture, charges an entry fee. Hayama Shiosai Museum, located in the park, contains exhibits of the marine life in both the shallow waters near Hayama and in deeper ocean waters, as well as exhibits from the collection of the late Showa emperor, who had an avid interest in marine biology. Other sights in the park include Shiomi Pavilion, built to commemorate the marriage of the Crown Prince in 1993, and Fukei Falls. The pergola terrace on the ocean side of the park affords a panoramic view of the coast.

    平日の昼過ぎに訪問。旧吉田邸のバラ園を見てからこちらへ。旧吉田邸から、車で1分ほど。平日は駐車場無料です。 やや上り坂がありますが、運動不足の70代の母も歩けるほどです。 展望台には屋根ありベンチもあり、海と山々を眺めながら休憩できます。風が気持ちいいです。 意外と園内は広いですが、5000歩弱くらいでした。

You can immerse yourself in nature by taking walks through the wooded pathways or enjoy the view of Mt. Fuji from the observation tower. Located in a residential area, it is accessible to many visitors who enjoy the abundant nature of the park.

    最寄り駅がないです……あえて探せば小田急線新百合ヶ丘駅からあざみ野駅行きバスでしょうか。多摩丘陵の地形と雑木林を活かしてそこに芝生広場や展望台をそえつけてあります。お散歩向きですが、ここに来るまででお散歩も十分かも。有料駐車場ありました。

    Takes a drive up here and entrance fee of 500¥ adult and 300¥ children. Good view of Lake Ashi and nice picture location.

    Rinko Park is one of the outdoor areas surrounding the Pacifico Yokohama and the largest tract of green land in the Minatomirai area. The wonderful location overlooking Yokohama Port spreads out in front of your eyes, and you can feel the seasons from the grasses, plants, and installations. The Pukari-sanbashi Pier, which is a terminal for sea bass and cruise ships traveling around Yokohama Port is also nearby, so s visit to Rinko Park is highly recommended. It is ten minutes’ walk from Minatomirai Station on the Tokyu Minatomirai Line.

    This park is situated on a small, 133-meter-high mountain a 20-minute walk from Keikyu Anjinzuka Station. Selected for inclusion in the 50 Picturesque Locations in Kanagawa list because of its beautiful views, from its lookout platform and hill with a view of the port, visitors can enjoy sweeping views extending all the way from Yokosuka Port to the distant Boso Peninsula and Yokohama. The park is also famous for its cherry trees and has beautiful bigleaf hydrangeas which bloom along a garden path. The Anjinzuka, a memorial tower dedicated to Miura Anjin (William Adams), who served Tokugawa Ieyasu as a diplomatic advisor, and his wife stands on the grounds; a festival celebrating the Englishman's accomplishments is also held in the park each year on April 8.

    桜の季節には多くの人で賑わう公園ですが2月下旬ではまだまだがらがらです。 按針塚駅から歩いてここを通って十三峠方向に向かいます。

    Located in Kanumadai in Sagamihara City, this park is famous for its various vehicles of transportation. It offers go-cars, mini cars and bicycles for rent for free. Equipped with traffic light signals, and crosswalks, it is a good place for children to learn traffic safety. The pond in the middle of the park is a favorite resting spot for the local residents. There they can watch the white swans, turtles, and carp.

    4月2日金曜日の朝8時半頃、近くの病院へ行く途中に公園内を通りました。桜は少しずつ散り始めたところですが、まだ十分に見応えがありました。公園内を足早に駅へ向かう方、ゆっくり散歩する方はいらっしゃいましたが、とても静かで心が和みました。

    Located a 20 minute walk from the south exit of Futamatagawa Station on the Sotetsu Line. Nicknamed “Oike Pond Park,” the park is one of the largest in Yokohama. Centering around a large pond called Oike Pond, there’s a natural grass lawn, giant fort-like play area, barbecue area, and various other facilities. In the park is an area of habitat for fireflies, which are designated Cultural Property by the city of Yokohama. At Makigahara Chibikko Zoo, you can meet and pet various cute animals. On the lawn, you can enjoy a picnic together with seasonally beautiful surroundings. From children to adults, the park’s spacious and nature-rich grounds can provide an entire day’s worth of entertainment.

A monument in the daytime, it works as an illumination presenting the night view in the evening. Zou-no-Hana Café attached Zou-no-Hana Terrace offers menu items using local vegetables. It is about five minutes’ walk from Nihon-odori Station on the Tokyu Minatomirai Line.

    The only park in Yokohama City with a manmade beach where you can swim in the sea. Besides swimming, park visitors can also enjoy barbecuing and shellfish gathering at low tide. On clear days, you can see Hakkeijima from the beach. The park also has an open field for playing and enjoying sports, beach volleyball courts, and a street basketball courts. A water play area for children in the park shoots jets of water out of the ground at regular intervals. There’s also a low pressure area for infants.

    This is a nature park in the Horiyamashita and Tokawa areas of Hadano City. The Mizunashi River flowing from Mt. Tanzawa traverses the grounds and its nature plays an important role in the park. With its little league baseball field and an area to play in the river, its known among the locals as a kid-friendly place to get some exercise. It has a barbecue area that provides full rental kits, so you don't have to bring cooking gear. The 267-meter-long, 35-meter-high Kaze-no-Tsuribashi suspension bridge is a park landmark and connects the banks of the Mizunashi River.

    よく整備されているハイキングコースです。山頂や途中の展望台からは海岸を一望できます。桜の時期が一番おススメです。

    You can reach this park by taking a Kanachu bus from Hashimoto Station in Sagamihara City, Kangawa Prefecture to either the Shiroyama Koko-mae or Tsukuiko Kanko Center stops. Located on both sides of the Shiroyama Dam, the park includes the site of Tsukui Castle and is divided into areas that include their Flower Garden and Water Garden. The colorful flowerbeds and an archaeological exhibition at the castle site compliment the grand natural surroundings. The park hosts a craft making program using natural materials collected on the premises. There is also a barbecue area and they have a plan that includes the ingredients you'll need.

    This park is arranged around the peak of Mt. Hiroyama in 5-Chome, Shinjuku, Zushi City. It features an observation deck and a rest house. You can see the surrounding scenery such as the city streets, Sagami Bay, Enoshima Island, and Mt. Fuji. Additionally, Japanese monkeys, ducks, peacocks and other animals are raised here.

Kanagawa prefecture acts as an extension of the Tokyo metropolis that spills over into coastal towns, most notably Yokohama city, heavily populated and known for its Chinatown and seaside attractions. Just the right distance for a day trip out of Tokyo, Kanagawa is home to some of Tokyo’s most accessible beaches, including around Kamakura, best known for its Big Buddha. Visitors can also travel a little farther afield for a weekend at Hakone onsen town.
