    One of the largest lakeside parks in Tokyo. Located in Katsushika City, the park is known as one of the few natural habitats of the prickly water lily, a species protected by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. The park’s verdant grounds are filled with rows of cherry and poplar trees and visitors can also enjoy the sight of aquatic plants such as Japanese iris, water lily, and fringed water lily.

    Such a beautiful big park in Tokyo! Beautiful in every season, lovely to walk around. I love it specially in the evening when sun sets and quiet.

    "This is Adachi's only aquarium and zoo where you can nurture love through interacting with living things and learn about the preciousness of life. It is a biological garden in a residential area a 20-minute walk from Takenotsuka Station. There are about 300 species of living things such as insects, fishes, amphibians and birds that are raised there. It consists of five sections with the theme of ""interactions, life and symbiosis."" You can interact with guinea pigs and rabbits and also feed sheep every day, so it is crowded with many families during long holidays and weekends. The popular event where creatures recommended by staff for that season are introduces by keepers is held on the first Saturday of each month, and same-day registration is accepted."

The flower-viewing square in the center of the park is known as one of the leading destinations for springtime cherry blossom-viewing in Tokyo, and when the trees are in bloom, they are lit up at night and the park also holds a cherry blossom festival which includes a variety of events. The park also has two water fountains connected by a canal, and children can play in these during the summer holidays.

    "This amusement facility is modeled after the popular comedic police manga (comic book) ""Kochira Katsushika-ku Kameari Koen-mae Hashutsujo."" Located on the third floor of Ario Kameari down Tokyo Metropolitan Road Route 318 from JR Kameari Station, the facility has a Japanese festival ground-style central area. Statues of popular characters from the series such as protagonist Kankichi Ryotsu are placed around the facility and clothing modeled after outfits worn by the characters are also displayed inside. The facility also contains a realistic recreation of the police station appearing in the comics. Inside the police station area, you can look inside the desks of the various characters and read reports written in-character. In addition, the facility is decorated with relevant books and merchandise as well as animation cells and creator autographs."

    A city park located in Kameari, Katsushika City, Tokyo. A spacious children's park with slides and swings, because it adjoins the fictional police station where the protagonist of the manga comic book Kochira Katsushika-ku Kameari Koen Mae Hashutsujo works, this famous park has also been used to film movies. Although there is no real police station around the park, it does have a statue of the main character, Ryotsu, making a double peace sign, as well as another statue of the character sitting on a bench. The park has many trees, and in spring when the cherry trees blossom, the Yoshino cherries in the park burst all at once into beautiful bloom.

    A botanical garden located in Horikiri, Katsushika City, Tokyo. The garden was created during the Edo period, one of many iris gardens which flourished at the time as sightseeing destinations. The garden's irises reach their peak from early to mid-June. Other flowers such as Japanese apricots, tree peonies, winter cherries, and wisteria come into bloom throughout the year. The Seikan-tei restaurant, which is outfitted with a casual cafe corner, operates on the garden grounds and serves seasonal Japanese dishes.

    A nine-minute drive from Kanamachi Station on the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line. This reservation-only barbecue field is located in Mizumoto Park, the only park in Tokyo with riverside scenery. A place that's fun for the whole family, the park has a children's area with slides and other playground equipment, as well as a greenhouse and wildflower garden, plus visitors can catch sight of wild creates such as Japanese rice fish and crayfish. The park rents and sells tools and supplies as well as barbecue food plans for groups of four or more, making it possible to come and barbecue without having to bring anything yourself. The barbecue ground and park are open year-round, and visitors can enjoy such seasonal changes as cherry blossoms in spring and fall foliage in autumn.

    "This public park is located near the Kohoku Junction on the Shuto Expressway. Situated next to the elevated Shuto Expressway running along the Arakawa River. The park's grounds have been planted with around 20 cherry trees called the Satogaeri-zakura (""Cherry Trees which Have Returned Home""). In 1886, 3,225 cherry trees spanning 78 varieties grew along a six-kilometer-long stretch of the bank of the Arakawa River in the area. The area bustled with visitors come to see the cherry blossoms in the spring, and the sight was described as being ""decorated with five colors"" (a phrase which can also simply mean ""colorful"" in Japanese); in turn, the cherry trees came to be called the Arakawa Goshiki-zakura (""Arakawa River Five-Colored Cherry Trees""), which in turn became the derivation of the park's name (which literally means ""Five-Colored Bank""). Later, the cherry trees gradually disappeared due to construction work on the bank and pollution; later still, saplings were collected from the cherry trees in Washington DC which Japan had once gifted to the United States, and these were then planted here as the Satogaeri-zakura in order to restore the sight of beautiful cherry trees growing along the river. Today, the Satogaeri-zakura continue to bloom beautifully in the spring, making this one of the most famous destinations for springtime cherry blossoms in Adachi, a ward known for its many beautiful cherry blossom-viewing locations."

    The 1.7-kilometer-long agricultural irrigation canal running through this area has supported farming in the area since ancient times, but in 1984, it and its surroundings were turned into a public park in order to serve as a space for rest, relaxation, and refreshment. A walking path has been built along the canal, and there are also numerous water play zones for young children, and in the summer the park bustles with families. There's also a semicircular pool in the park in which preschool-aged children who no longer require diapers can play in for free in the summer.

    This public park and site of historic ruins is located close to Iko Hikawa Shrine. A variety of artefacts dating to 1,500 years ago have been found here, as well as 4,000-year-old late Jomon period pottery and 1,600-year-old early Kofun period artefacts. Because of the huge amount of pottery, magatama comma-shaped stone jewels, and other artefacts discovered here, it is thought that it might have been an important site where many festivals and religious rituals were held. A hokei-shukobo (square-shaped ditched tomb), a type of tomb thought to be the predecessor to Japan's famous Kofun keyhole-shaped tombs, was also discovered here, and visitors can view a recreation of it as well as a recreation of an ancient pit-dwelling on the grounds.

    小さな子ども2人を連れて訪問しました。 連休にもかかわらずそこまで混んでいなくて、伸び伸び楽しめました。 紙すき・染色室では、紙すきや糸づくりの工程を教わることができ、面白かったです。 子ども向けの遊具広場は、あまり種類がなかったこと、猛暑日に訪問してことで子どもたちはあまり遊びませんでした。 次回は予約制の野菜収穫体験やワークショップへ参加したいです。

    竹の塚駅の東側、警察署の近くに有る、非常に大きな公園です。界隈の公園と違って、広い池がいくつか点在するのが独特です。非常にのどかな世界が魅力です。園内には生物館もあり、生き物に触れ合えるのも嬉しいです。

    こちらは、お花茶屋駅より徒歩13分くらいの場所にあります。 葛飾区の歴史と天文についての博物館です。 葛飾区の歴史と資料展示について、センスの良い綺麗で分かりやすい展示で良かったです。 天文についてはプラネタリウムもあり、数々の体験ができる展示物が勉強になりました。

    分岐前の中川に面した、広大な公園です。下水処理施設の真上にあり、緑化事業の一環でできた公園です。というわけで広場と植樹に熱心な印象で、大雑把な感じが否めません。洋種が多いので、紅葉の時期は綺麗かなと思いました。
