    Tokyo Hachioujishi Minamiosawa 1-600
An outlet mall conveniently located just a two-minute walk from Minami-osawa Station on the Keio Sagamihara Line. In addition to numerous domestic and international apparel brands and select life goods stores, the mall hosts an adult cultural activities school, pet shop, cafes, and restaurants. Concerts and other events are also frequently held amidst the attractive Provence-style architecture of the grounds.

This outlet mall has many global brands but the prices are no way near what you get in USA. Of course it’s cheaper than Tokyo city but still not as fun.

This Japanese restaurant in a mountain hamlet surrounded by nature feels like a secret getaway. It's about three minutes by car from Takaosan Interchange on the Keno Expressway. They serve savory cuisine made with seasonal ingredients cooked on the charcoal fire of their irori hearth. Their plump and tasty thick-cut charcoal grilled chicken is a popular. The shop alters its ambiance to coincide with the changing seasons. Visitors look out on cherry blossoms in spring, fireflies in the garden in summer, the colored foliage of fall, and winter's snowy cover. The photogenic location makes it in demand for business dinners and wedding receptions.

Separate dining buildings surrounded by beautiful gardens, ponds and running water. Individual service by waitress who also cooks some courses at the table. Sublime atmosphere!

In this small zoo located in the Kanaimachi district of Tokyo’s Machida City, approximately 200 Taiwanese squirrels and chipmunks have free range of the premises. In addition to putting on gloves and enjoying the experience of squirrels eating out of your hand, there is also an area to see familiar animals such as guinea pigs, rabbits, and turtles. The “Fureai Hiroba” event in which guests can hold rabbits and guinea pigs is only held on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. The docile guinea pigs are quite popular among small children.

"This restaurant is located in front of Takaosan Cable Car Station. A historical shop founded during the Tenpo era (1830-1842) in the late Edo period, you can enjoy specialty soba buckwheat noodles made with 60% buckwheat flour kneaded with grated yam and high-quality flour. The grated yam is a combination of ""yamatoimo"" yam and ""nagaimo"" yam, and is characterized by its rich taste. In addition to soba noodles, you can also enjoy dishes with ingredients and tastes unique to Mt. Takao, such as ""mugitoro-han"" (rice and barley dish served with yam), ""yuba konnyaku kamaage"" (yam cake jelly made with soy milk) and grilled miso. Group travelers can also reserve a kaiseki-style lunch in a rustic ""zenza"" room, surrounded by the four seasons of Takao."

Having received three stars as a sightseeing location from the Michelin Guide, it is visited by approximately 3 million people each year who come primarily for viewing colorful fall foliage or to hike in the warmer months. It’s an easy mountain to access for both children and inexperienced visitors with a cable car in addition to the various well-maintained hiking paths. It’s famous for tororo soba and shops also sell souvenirs associated with tengu (a long-nosed goblin in Japanese folklore). "The former residence of Jiro Shirasu and his wife, Masako. Shirasu played an important role in post-World War II diplomacy in Japan. On a hill in verdant Tsurukawa, it has a museum, restaurant, and cafe on site. Once known as ""the coolest man in Japan,"" he studied English at Cambridge University, and was said to have argued with GHQ (General Headquarters of the Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers), even standing up to MacArthur. Although women had been barred from performing traditional Noh theater, she appeared on stage and was so successful she even had a stage name. The facility is replete with reminders of the couple, and you can even enjoy Western-style fare that faithfully recreates their meals."

This is a very interesting Historical home. It had a thatched roof yet in the tradition of old Japan.

A metropolitan park filled with the abundant natural beauty of the Tama Hills area a 10-minute walk from Tamasakai Station on the Keio Line. There are four untouched valleys in the park, each of which has a spring which flows into the Tama River. These areas are conservation lands which are habitats for rare plant and animal species not often seen in this day and age (access to some areas is prohibited). The One Ryokudo, covered by the cooling shade of trees in summer, was originally a road built for tank training and performance testing at the close of WWII. Today, the road is lined with cherry trees which come into beautiful bloom in spring and serves as a space for rest and relaxation for local residents.

Tokyo Areas

The setting of countless iconic movie scenes and the inspiration for songs, poetry, and literature worldwide, Tokyo barely requires an introduction. It's hard for the kaleidoscopic neon lights, wacky pop culture, and some of the world's tallest structures not to instill excitement in any first-time visitor to Tokyo, whether you're in the very center of the hustle and bustle in Shinjuku or Shibuya or looking in from the quieter suburbs.
