    This record store is considered one of the world’s largest music stores and is located in Jinnan, Shibuya City, Tokyo. It is a large specialty shop with a variety of genre of CDs. Genres are divided into each floor such as J-pop, rock, and classical music, and the interior theme of each floor is different for each genre. Many events by artists and performers are held in the event space on the basement floor and the eighth floor as well as the floor with the grand piano. There is a café on the rooftop, and at night it is an adult space where you can enjoy music while drinking and smoking.

    A new kind of bookstore combining both publishing and retail functions in the so-called Oku-Shibuya area of the Kamiyama neighborhood in Shibuya City, Tokyo. The clean white interior is filled with books and publications of all genres, including magazines, comics, art books, and photo collections. In the back of the shop is an editing space for the publishing company. Patrons can watch the publication process at work through glass windows. Open until midnight on weekdays, the shop is the perfect place to casually stop by on the way home from work.

    This store is about three minutes away from Yoyogihachiman Station and two minutes from Yoyogi Koen Station. This secondhand bookstore in Shibuya City's Tomigaya area also carries mushroom-related odds and ends. They offer an assortment of unique books, starting with books about ethnic tribes, the occult, overseas photo books and mushroom picture books. The store has an especially large number of mushroom-related books from throughout the world, such as mushroom-themed picture books, novels, fairytales and photo books. A secondhand bookstore always trying to be interesting, they also have a selection of nostalgic subculture, records, CDs, and picture books from foreign countries such as the Czech Republic and Hungary.

    Im glad others have had awesome experiences at this record shop, but mine was just okay. Yes, I found what I was looking for (an m-flo record, although they just had a mix LP) BUT it took me a while...
