Leprotto, open since 2001, has a workshop in the old fashioned craftsman district of Yanesen, where they make and sell wallets, bags, card cases, pouches, glasses cases and other high quality goods. There are plenty of samples in the shop, and you can buy off the shelf or have something custom made with your choice of leather color, stitch color, etc. You can also have simple leather goods made to your specifications.

    A cat themed shop with an eye-catching maneki-neko lucky cat displayed in front of the store. Located in Yanaka, also known as Cat Town, they sell original maneki-neko and a variety of other feline-themed merchandise. Most of their products are made and painted by hand. A Yanakado classic, they have warmth not found in mass-produced versions. Every maneki-neko has its own facial expression, making picking one all the more fun. They also offer made-to-order versions. Painting in intricate detail, they create a model based on a picture you provide, resulting in a one-of-a-kind item. Maneki-neko of people's pets have proven super popular with cat lovers.
