"Located midway between Shimo-Kitazawa Station and Ikenoue Station and a short distance north, this restaurant serves a unique take on Sapporo-style soup curry. Customers can choose from among seven levels of spiciness and a wide variety of toppings, while the restaurant's Asian-inspired decor gives it a distinctive atmosphere. In addition to standard toppings like chicken and seafood, the keema and beans, vegetables and beans, and vegetables and mushrooms soup curries are only offered here at the Tokyo restaurant. There are also special seasonal soup curries as well as the ""kimagure"" (""capricious"") soup curry, whose price, contents, and even when it's offered depends entirely on the whims of the staff."

The first of the Honda Gekijo troupe's many theaters in Shimokitazawa. Originally it was a wooden two-story building with a bar on the first floor and apartments upstairs. It was reinforced with steel framing during large-scale renovations and resurrected as an unusual space hosting bars, long-term lodging, and a theater. It was then a rehearsal hall, but there was growing demand for a theater, leading to the facility as it is today. Shimokitazawa is called the Theater District, and some say The Suzunari was its start. Nowadays, a wide range of actors performing in everything from underground plays to comedies appear, and the playhouse is known for its unique performances.
