    Located in the Ariake district of Tokyo's Koto City, this is Japan's largest convention center. It opened in 1996 and is used for various trade fairs and exhibitions throughout the year including business as well as cultural events. It is famous for hosting the Tokyo Motor Show and the Comic Market. The interior is mainly divided up into the Conference Tower, East Hall, East New Exhibition Hall, West Hall and Restaurant Avenue.

    A multipurpose public culture facility with eight halls of various sizes as well as 34 meeting rooms. The facility frequently hosts cultural events that help share with the world the unique charms of Japan. The airy Glass Building hall, walled in by huge glass panels, has been awarded three Michelin stars, and is a popular tourist spot in and of itself. The entire facility is decorated with works of art, and visitors can come and enjoy the building like an art museum.

    I visited here to attend an event. Well organized comfortable place.there was SHAKE SHACK hamburger at the middle!!

    This is an event hall located on floors three through five of the Yomiuri Shimbun’s Tokyo headquarters. It features a construction with two auditoriums: the 500-seat Yomiuri Otemachi Hall which is uses for classical music concerts, preview screenings of movies, symposiums and performances of traditional art with its installed noh stage, and Yomiuri Otemachi Small Hall which is used for various functions including seminars, workshops and parties. It is directly accessible from Otemachi Station’s C3 exit.

    Called the Ryogoku Kokugikan, this is widely known as a venue for sumo competitions. It can accommodate more than 10,000 spectators and hosts various events besides sumo including pro-wrestling, boxing and concerts. Inside the venue’s shop visitors can purchase sweets and original merchandise featuring sumo motifs even when an official sumo tournament is not being held. The facility also houses the Sumo Museum where visitors can see color prints and ornamental aprons, as well as photos of past yokozuna champions.

    I am fortunate to be able to travel here 3 times a year to watch the spectacle of SUMO wrestling. Some people male fun of this sport, and I rebuke the fools who think this is not a highly skilled...

    This classical music concert hall opened in 1986 in “Akasaka Ark Hills” in Minato City, Tokyo. There are two halls, a main hall and a small hall. In pursuit of “the world’s most beautiful sound,” the main hall adopted the “Vineyard-style” of architecture in which all 2006 seats are arranged like the sloping terrace of a vineyard. The lobby, with a drinks corner and shop, is designed as an adult social gathering place where you can enjoy chatting before the performance. Please note that the hall will be closed until August 31, 2017 for renovations.

The main hall with its excellent acoustics is often used for concerts and as a venue for symposiums. In addition the facility also includes small halls, practice rooms, study rooms and a support corner for lifelong learning. In the basement is the Nakano City Library, and there is a planetarium in the West Building. Located right next to Momijiyama Park with its abundant nature, this facility functions as a place for interaction among the city residents.

The famous great clock on the outside of the building announces the hour by opening to reveal an animatronic performance and has become a popular meeting spot. A central atrium divides shopping areas on the left and right, and the facility hosts the Hankyu MEN’S Tokyo and LUMINE department stores, cafes, restaurants, the Yurakucho Asahi Hall with theater and gallery, and a movie theater.

Equipped with an orchestra pit, in addition to holding ballet performances, concerts, and kayo (Japanese ballad music) shows, it is also often used for school entrance/graduation ceremonies as well as company events. It has 1,582 seats divided into first and second floor seating areas, which are set at an incline for better views of the stage.

The hall’s fixtures include a Steinway piano, and its carefully selected and designed audio equipment and high ceiling ensure acoustics unmatched by similar locations.

    都内でも好きなホールです。 駅から直ぐという立地条件も夜は嬉しいですね。 音響効果も優れていると思いますし化粧室も個室がイッパイあるので音楽会の休憩時間は有効に使えます。 2階のバルコニー席の眺めが特にいい!

The facility includes exhibits dedicated to NHK programming such as period dramas and nature shows; a corner where visitors can see how NHK Radio programs are recorded; and exhibits that let users experience what it is like to record a news program and an animation soundtrack. There’s also a children’s library section and Kids World dedicated to children’s shows, making NHK Studio Park a great place to bring the whole family.

    Very entertaining, Unfortunately we arrived late and was only able to view the last couple of performances but thoroughly enjoyed it.

In addition to the main hall is a lounge space as well as a cafe and gallery, and it hosts events that go beyond the framework of music.

Every summer the Art Aquarium event is held here with the theme of “Edo, Coolness of Kingyo (Japanese goldfish),” which is well-attended as a reminder of summer in Nihombashi.

    浅草寺にほど近いところにある演芸場です。 建物はかなり古く、中も広いとは言えません。 が、それが「浅草21世紀」という喜劇鑑賞にちょうど良い感じです。 アドリブで進めるお芝居、お客さんの反応も良くてとてもよかったです。

    A 10 minute walk from Asakusa Station. The Asakusa France-za Engeijo Toyokan is a performing arts theater in Asakusa-koen Rokku. Known simply as the Toyokan, the theater is famous as the place where comedian, actor, and director Beat Takeshi got his start. Today, the theater primarily holds variety shows of manzai and mandan comedy, while its sister theater in the same building, the Asakusa Engei Hall, is used mainly for traditional rakugo comedic storytelling; together, they carry on a history of comedy culture in the Asakusa area. Performances are conducted 365 days a year, ensuring you can enjoy a performance any day the mood strikes you. An afternoon performance is held daily from 12:00 p.m.; consisting of 15 to 20 groups of performers and comedians, a new group is sure to come on before you ever get bored with the current one.
