    800° DEGREES Neapolitan Pizzeria (NEWoMan branch) is a Neapolitan pizza restaurant located on the second floor of NEWoMan, a shopping center situated directly opposite the Koshu-Kaido Exit of JR Shinjuku Station. This is the first Japanese branch of the 800° DEGREES Neapolitan Pizzeria chain, which has become very popular on the West Coast of the U.S.A.; diners can enjoy authentic pizza that is cooked rapidly in a very hot oven to a perfect soft yet firm consistency. Diners place their order at the counter, and choose from among over 40 different toppings; they can then enjoy watching the pizza made just the way they want it right in front of them. Takeout is available.

    The pizzas themselves were good, but they charge 330jpy for an anchovy topping, which even with a loupe I could not detect on my pizza,a basic Marinara . Luckily I was prepared for anchovy pizzas...

    このエリアにしては比較的リーズナブルな店。それなりに大箱なのに日曜日のお昼にはほぼ満席。入口を入ると直ぐにオープンキッチンがあり、その横では生ハムをスライスしているところが丸見え。最近の流行りなのかもしれないが、個人的には衛生的にどうなのかと思ってしまうし、匂いがフロアに充満するので好きではない。料理はどれも満足できるレベルで、価格はリーズナブル。ドリンクは、ちょっと比較すると高めに感じた。
