    This strawberry farm in Otaka-cho, Midori Ward, Chiba City boasts the largest greenhouse in the prefecture. It sells its produce starting in mid-December, and you can pick your own strawberries between January and the end of May. They're grown on platforms, and there's a rest area on the premises, so it's accessible to families and guests with wheelchairs.

    Located south of Chiba Urban Monorail Line 2 on Ogura-Icho-dori, this orchard offers springtime bamboo shoot digging, grape and pear picking in summer and fall, chestnut and sweet potato picking, and other harvesting activities. The outdoor rest area is sheltered from the rain by overhanging grape vines, and the sun shining through the trees makes it a great picnic spot, where you can bring your own lunch.
