It's the home field of the Kashiwa Reysol J-League team, and is still sometimes called by its former name, Hitachi Kashiwa Soccer Stadium. "Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport Kashiwanoha is a commercial facility located near Kashiwanoha Campus Station. It consists of a cluster of buildings housing fashion boutiques, variety shops, restaurants and bars, farmers' markets, and movie theaters. Its food court is divided into four zones, ""Light,"" ""Fire,"" ""Forest,"" and ""Earth."" On the third Sunday of every month, a climbing wall is made available to customers who make reservations ahead of time. The rooftops feature flower gardens and agricultural plots, while the spaces between the buildings contain landscaping features such as lawns, fountains, and wooden decks. Various kinds of events, especially musical performances, are held here at irregular intervals."
