"Kiyomizu-dera Temple is located near Otowa no Mori Park in Kamone, Misaki-cho, in the city of Isumi. It has long history, having been built in 807 by Sakanoue no Tamuramaro. Its principal votive figure is the Thousand-Armed Kannon, and this temple is the 32nd of the 33 places sacred to the bodhisattva Kannon in Bando (the old name for the Kanto Region). Within the precincts are sculptures of the 47 samurai of the Ako domain whose plot to avenge their lord was immortalized in the play ""Chushingura."""

Tanjoji Temple was built in 1276 in the present-day Kominato area of the city of Kamogawa, the birthplace of Nichiren, the founder of Nichiren Buddhism. It was moved to its present location after an earthquake in 1703. In 1758, a fire destroyed all the temple buildings except Niomon Gate. This surviving structure has been designated a Prefectural Tangible Cultural Property. On February 16 of each year, a festival called Shuso Goko Tan-e is held to commemorate Nichiren's birthday. A portable shrine with an image of Nichiren as a child is carried around in a procession called O-Neri Gyoretsu.

This is the Buddhist temple of the Nichiren sect built in the place where Nichiren was born. This is a sacred place located in Kominato, in Southern Chiba, facing the Pacific Ocean. Nichiren was born...

This roadside station is located along the Sotobo-Kuroshio Line. It sells Kamogawa Sea World goods, processed seafood goods such as Boshu Hijiki seaweed, Kujira no Tare whale meat sauce and dried fish, and agricultural products such as fresh vegetables and the Nagasamai brand of rice. Besides restaurants that offer set meals and rice bowls using Nagasamai and local seafood, there is also an adjoining foot bath using water from Kamogawa Onsen Nagisa no Yu, an artificial tide pool and dog park outside.

This observatory is in Kaisuka, Kamogawa City. At about 110 meters above sea level, it has great views of the Kamogawa City nightscape and sunrise over the Pacific Ocean. The name Uomizuka comes from fishermen who once watched for schools of fish from there. Gyofu, the statue of the goddess on the top, is the observatory's symbol.

This sightseeing boat lets you get a good look at the tai red sea bream in “Tainoura Tai Habitat” —a Special Natural Monument. Open every day of the year. One fun trip is about 25 minutes. About five minutes southeast through the Uchiura Bay from the ferry port near Tanjo-ji Temple, there is a narrow region of water where the sea bream live in the shallows 10-30 meters down. You may even see them eating up the food that people throw in to them.

This temple is in Hiroba, Kamogawa City. It was built to mourn two of Nichiren's disciples who lost their lives at one of the four great persecutions of Nichiren believers due to assaults from the estate head, TojoKagenobu at the sacred Komatsubara persecution site. The over 1000-year-old tree, Koshinnomaki, can be seen here. It is from this tree that Kishimojin, the goddess of childbirth, was said to descend to save Nichiren during the persecution.

This shrine is dedicated to seven main gods including Amaterasu Sume-okami, Toyouke no Okami, Yae Kotoshironushi no Kami and Oyamazumi no Kami. It was originally dedicated to Yae Kotoshironushi no Kami, but Minamoto no Yoritomo prayed for the spirit of Ise to come in the Kamakura period (1185?1333) and enshrined together, so the shrine is also called Boshu Ise no Miya. The maruba-chisha-no-ki (round-leaved lettuce tree) on the west side of the premises are sub-tropical tall deciduous trees, and because it is said they are of extremely high value as the northernmost trees growing naturally in the wild, they have been designated as a prefectural natural monument.
