    Isabaya, located next to the fish market, is a restaurant offering freshly caught seafood from Ohara Port. In times of bad weather when the catch is small some dishes on the menu are limited in quantity or not served at all but that is because Isabaya only wants to serve the finest, freshest seafood. Naturally their sashimi and tempura are excellent but their tako-meishi (octopus rice) made with locally caught octopus is also superb.

    This seafood restaurant is on the Sotobo-Kuroshio Line. Their cuisine features seasonal seafood from their own in-store tank. Their menu changes with the seasons and offers a variety of fare including Japanese spiny lobster tempura on rice and other rice bowls, sashimi, simmered fish meal sets, and hotpots with locally harvested clams.

    地物の刺身が魅力。 普通だったら2〜3人で食べる位のボリュームがある、新鮮な地物の魚が食べられます。刺身2,200円＋定食セット化(550円)と安くはありませんが、小皿でイワシの煮付けも付いており、美味しく頂いて納得しました。

    なめろうと海鮮丼をいただきました。お刺し身は新鮮で厚切り、食べごたえがありとても美味しかったです。残念だったのは、お店でお運びをしていたお兄さん（息子さんかな？）。無愛想で、小鉢をドンとテーブルに置くのはいただけない。なんか機嫌悪いのかしら？こっちが気を使ってしまい、食事の楽しい気分が半減しました。
