- "Surrounded by the hills of Tokigamine on three sides, the lake was originally a bowl shaped basin with a pond at its center. A piece of land jutting out into the lake from its west side is nicknamed ""Bentenjima."" Some 1,000 cherry trees have been planted around the lake and it is a well-known destination for cherry blossom viewing in the spring. Each year in April the Togane Cherry Blossom Festival is held here, attracting large numbers of tourists."

Chiba Areas
The Boso Peninsula forms the main body of Chiba prefecture, and this is where you’ll find its endless warm water beaches and jagged mountains. Further inland, Narita - most famous as the home of Narita Airport - is a secret haven of tradition and history in the form of centuries-old Shinshoji Temple and quaint wooden Edo buildings. Chiba prefecture is also home to both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea.
