Sakura City, Chiba Prefecture, Narita City, Inzai City etc.
Straddling Sakura City and Narita City, this lake is the largest in Chiba Prefecture. Frequent land reclamation projects have been conducted at the lake since the Edo period (1603-1868), and today it is divided into two stormwater management reservoirs, one to the west and one to the north. The surrounding area is maintained as Chiba Inbanuma Park, with facilities such as a wild bird forest and cycling roads. Many freshwater fish inhabit the lake, making it a popular fishing destination as well.

Chiba Areas

The Boso Peninsula forms the main body of Chiba prefecture, and this is where you’ll find its endless warm water beaches and jagged mountains. Further inland, Narita - most famous as the home of Narita Airport - is a secret haven of tradition and history in the form of centuries-old Shinshoji Temple and quaint wooden Edo buildings. Chiba prefecture is also home to both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea.
