    This Japanese kappo restaurant is on the Sotobo-Kuroshio Line. They offer seafood dishes such as sashimi and sushi with fresh fish purchased every morning from Ohara Fishing Port, flame-broiled fish, stewed dishes, meal sets, and more. Ohara boasts one of the nation's biggest hauls of Japanese spiny lobster, and the shop has a has a tank dedicated to them. Their Nami-no-Ihachidon seafood rice bowls are limited to 20 servings a day. Only three servings of its special premium version are available daily.

During the afternoon, the restaurant offers a lunch menu primarily consisting of donburi rice bowl dishes, while at night the establishment switches over to a primarily Japanese izakaya pub style menu.

    Takaraya is a long-established traditional Japanese restaurant (founded in 1897) that is located in the Chuo district of Kisarazu City, around three minutes’ walk from Kisarazu Station. The menu features dishes that use fresh fish and seafood caught in Tokyo Bay, including short-necked clams, grilled sweetfish, etc. A range of donburi (rice bowl) dishes and set meals are available at lunchtime, including the “Takaraya Meibutsu Short-necked Clam Meal.”

    the food was so good I ate there 2 nights in a row. Prices are very resonable for the quality of the food. Service was very excellent. I highly recomend this restaurant if you want good Japanese food.

There are various kaiseki meals to meet your needs: from Kyo kaiseki to a more modern creative kaiseki. Local Chiba sake is highly recommended. At night, artificial fog and bonfire adds to the tranquil atmosphere.

    窓の外には小さな日本庭園。お隣テラスの洋風ガーデンとは全く違った趣。（どちらも好きですが）席の間隔も十分でゆっくり落ち着け安心します。「会席」となると敷居が高くなりますが、そこはおりじんの素晴らしいところ。お料理も申し分なく美味しい。量も中高年には丁度良いです。

    常連さんにやさしく、一見さんに厳しい女将さんでした。食べ物はおいしいもののコスパは絶低でした。てんぷらの盛り合わせは美味しくいただけました。刺身の盛り合わせは価格が高過ぎでした。
