    An art museum located in Hitsujiyama Park situated along National Route 299 in Omiya, Chichibu City. The museum boasts one of the largest collections of works by woodblock print master Shiko Munakata and also owns paintings by artists such as Takeshi Hayashi, Shintaro Suzuki, and Morikazu Kumagai.

    山の上にあるので秩父駅、西武秩父駅いずれもタクシー利用がおすすめです。棟方志功の二菩薩と十大弟子をはじめ、志功の力作が並んでいます。 志功のファンにはたまりません。青森と双璧を並べる美術館です。 下りは歩いても山上を楽しみながら駅にすぐ着きました。

    ガレット目当てで伺いました。 道路沿いとは思えないほど、静けさを感じます。入ってすぐに小さなホールがあり、写真の展示があります。本もおいてあり、自由に読めるので、平日の空いてる時間帯などはゆっくり静かに過ごせるのではと思います。 可愛いヤギもいます。 ガレットは味付けもよくとても美味しく頂けました☺︎
