• MetLife Dome

  A stadium located near the Seibukyujo-mae Station in Kamiyamaguchi, Tokorozawa City. The stadium is home to the Seibu Lions professional baseball team, boasting a history of nearly 40 years since 1979. On site is the Seibu second stadium, a soccer park, tennis courts, and an indoor kid’s park. Visitors to the stadium can enjoy more than 1,000 kinds of food at shops both inside and outside the stadium and in the Owner’s Restaurant (restricted to season ticket holders, etc.).

  A lake located in Shorakuji, Tokorozawa City. This artificial lake was created by drawing water from the Tama River to serve as a source of water for Tokyo. The surrounding area is maintained as Sayama Prefectural Nature Park and visitors can enjoy the area's seasonal, natural beauty, including spring cherry blossoms and fall foliage; the park is also a wintering destination for water birds. In addition, there's the Sayama Lake Sports Ground.

  With pools and waterslides to enjoy in summer, sleigh-riding and illumination in winter and early spring, the Seibuen Yuenchi has many events all year long. It’s the perfect amusement part for families, thanks to its many attractions that even toddlers can enjoy. And the former park master, a Hokkaido native, confidently recommends the popular barbeque-style “jingisukan” (Mongolian BBQ using mutton) naming it “Jingisukin.”

  The first site of aviation in Japan, the Tokorozawa Aviation Memorial Park opened in 1978. Located amidst its expansive grounds is the Tokorozawa Aviation Memorial Hall, a baseball field, tennis courts and other sports facilities, an outdoor stage, and a Japanese Garden Tea House, this park is bustling with many people.

  The Tokorozawa store of Kakujoe Gyorui based in Teradomari, Niigata Prefecture, an area known as the “Ameyoko of fish”, this store has sashimi assortments and sushi of superb freshness as well as side dishes. The store bustles with even more activity during demonstration sales where raw tuna is filleted and on “Kakujoe Day”, the fourth Wednesday of every month except December.

  A museum located in Tokorozawa Aviation Memorial Park situated along National Route 463 in Namiki, Tokorozawa City. Through exhibits on the Tokorozawa Airport, flight simulators, control systems, and aircraft on display in the museum's hangar, visitors can learn about aviation technology and the history of Tokorozawa Airport. The museum also has a giant screen movie theater and holds workshops and crafting classes.

• Tennen Onsen Yu no Mori

  "A large public bathhouse facility situated along Prefectural Route 24 in Shimoyasumatsu, Tokorozawa City. The bathhouse has an outdoor bath and indoor tubs constantly replenished ""kakenagashi"" style from a natural hot spring welling up from 1,100 meters below the ground. Facilities include regular saunas; bedrock bath; and 15 varieties of baths including the men's and women's bathing areas, which alternate on a weekly basis. There's also a body care corner, food and drink corner, game corner, and more."

  A historic building located in 3-Chome Mikajima, Tokorozawa City. The building is operated as an activity base for the Totoro no Furusato Foundation. The over 100-year old main building, storehouse, and tea workshop are all designated National Tangible Cultural Properties, and on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, the facility is made open to the general public. Workshops, art exhibitions, and other events are held here, and visitors can also purchase original Totoro Foundation merchandise.

  A Japanese izakaya pub situated along National Route 463 in Ushinuma, Tokorozawa City. Here customers can go fishing in a giant fish tank and have their catch prepared to their liking, including as sashimi, grilled with salt, and deep fried. Facilities include private rooms facing the fish tank, tables on a giant boat floating in the tank, and a second floor banquet hall capable of seating up to 120.
