    A Japanese garden located in 6-Chome Hanata, Koshigaya City. A circular excursion garden built around a central pond which was completed in 1990, the garden has a tea house and the entrance was once a row house which belonged to the Uda family, the local village headsman family, in the Edo period. Visitors can take in the sight of beautiful seasonal flowers and trees. Tea ceremonies are held in the tea house. The garden is adjoined by the Koshigaya Nohgakudo Noh theater.
  • Seikeien Garden

    A garden with a central pond made between 1865 and 1868 by Takei Tanjo who assisted in numerous improvement projects in Kumagaya. The garden was given to Kumagaya City in 1950 and was designated a Kumagaya Place of Scenic Beauty in 1954. There are three tea houses in the garden, Seikeiryo, Shofuan, and Sekisuikaku, which are used to teach aspects of Japanese culture such as tea ceremonies.
