    Occupying an extensive area equivalent to eleven Tokyo Domes, this multipurpose park boasts a wealth of natural beauty. The Children’s Zoo gives children a chance to interact with small animals. Among the abundance of sights is the Iris Garden, where 2,600 plants bloom each June. With athletic grounds and picnic grounds, this is a popular place for both parents and children.
  • Minoyama Park

    This natural park is spread across the solitary mountain (rare in Chichibu) of Mt. Minoyama, at a height of 586 meters. It features roughly 8,000 cherry trees in 70 varieties (mostly Yoshino cherries), as well as number of other flowering plants, like rhododendrons and hydrangeas, making for a colorful display in spring and summer. Famous for its night view and even selected as one of Japan’s Top 100 Night Views, the outlook point on the peak offers a gorgeous view of Chichibu Basin and Okuchichibu Mountains. A sea of clouds shows up in early morning, and sometimes stick around to create the mysterious night view. There are no exterior lights, so you will need portable lighting if you come to the park at night.

    "A public park situated along Prefectural Route 366 in Yohee Shinden, Hanyu City. Designed around the theme of ""life and nature,"" park facilities include the Saitama Aquarium, an iris field, aquatic plant garden, canoe and boat dock, barbecue ground, grass field, and large playground. The only waterwheel plant habitat in Japan is also located on the park's ground and is protected under natural conservation measures."
  • Iwatsuki Castle Park

    A park located in Ota, Iwatsuki Ward, Saitama City. The park grounds enclose the site of Iwatsuki Castle, of which only the original stone and earthen base remains. Park facilities include a baseball field, clay tennis courts, and multipurpose square. The park is also a renowned destination for viewing cherry blossoms, and in the spring the Iwatsuki Castle Park Cherry Blossom Festival is held here.

    This park is located in Chuo Ward, Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture. Some 3,000 roses spanning around 170 varieties bloom in profusion on the grounds, and the park holds a rose festival in spring. In addition to roses, the park also boasts stunning Yoshino cherries, and many people come here during cherry blossom viewing season. Tenso Shrine, one of the stations on the Yono Seven Gods of Fortune Pilgrimage, is also located on the grounds.

    A large park adjacent to Sagiyama Memorial Park, Minuma Nature Park contains an extensive green and a sizable lake where visitors can observe aquatic plant and animal life. Seasonal blossoms can be seen throughout the year, including cherry blossoms in the spring and brilliantly colored leaves in autumn.

    A park situated along Prefectural Route 69 in Honda, Fukaya City. The park has fruit and vegetable farms and visitors can pick seasonal agricultural products. The park also holds classes on agricultural and forestry topics like gardening, woodworking, and cooking. In addition, the park has a variety of attractions such as a large square with playground; grass lawn; restaurant; battery powered toy cars which can be ridden for a small fee; and a 1/10th scale miniature steam locomotive which operates on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Plus, there's a farm's market selling fresh farm produce and foods.

There's also an observatory overlooking Lake Kamakita.
  • Kitamoto Nature Observation Park

The wide 32.9 hectare ground was built to preserve the traditional Satochi Satoyama (mix of wild and cultivated land), so that visitors could appreciate untouched natural areas. Inside the park, there are a variety of plants like the municipally designated National Natural Monument Edobikanzakura cherry, as well as Yoshino cherry trees, and you can enjoy observing wildlife year round.

It’s large nearly three-hectare garden boasts about 10,000 bushes of 12 species of azalea, including mountain azalea and purple rhododendron. There are also rows of cherry trees and a rare dogtooth violet garden. The park bustles in spring with the many visitors who come to view the blossoms. A promenade and a gazebo let people enjoy them at their leisure. Every year, the Godaison Azalea Park Festival is held when the azaleas are in bloom.

In addition to a campsite, there is a barbecue house, restaurants and souvenir shops, making it a popular destination for people of all ages.

    AinaShinsui Park is an 18-hectare park in the riverbed of the Irumagawa River. With its cosmos garden and wildflower garden, the park is also known as a famous place for viewing flowers. Tennis courts, softball ground and other sports facilities are available by reservation, and the park is also equipped with cycling trails and dog runs, all features that make the park appealing to all generations.
  • Kumagaya Sports & Culture Park Management Office

    "A park situated along Sports Koen-dori Avenue in Kamigawakami, Kumagawaya City. Facilities include a track and field ground, rugby ground, softball ground, indoor exercise facility, ""Sainokuni Kumagaya Dome."" The park was used as the primary venue for the 59th National Sports Festival of Japan and a variety of sports competitions are still held here today."
  • Kodai Hasu no Sato

    A park located in Kobari, Gyoda City. The park is a habitat for ancient lotuses, a variety of lotus designated a Natural Monument by Gyoda City. The grounds are equal in size to roughly three Tokyo Domes and encompass a pond where ancient lotuses grow; a botanical garden with lotuses from around the world, other aquatic plants, and tree peonies; a square with a playground; fishing pond; flower viewing square; shop; and udon noodle restaurant. The park also holds firefly watching events along the river which flows inside its borders in June.
  • Omurasaki no mori, Cho no sato Park

    This nature park is located on a river terrace pn the left bank of Toki River. Designed on the idea of a biotope, it makes use of the original landscape with varied terrain including mixed forest and open meadows for the benefit of the creatures living there. The park is home to about 60 species of butterflies, including the omurasaki, the national butterfly of Japan. To help make it easier to spot them, greenery favored by their larvae as feed has been preserved in some places, as well as the flowers preferred by adults. Along with the huge variety of dragon flies at the clear Toki River and a nearby firefly viewing area, there are lots of insects to see in the summer.
  • Saitama Midori no Mura

    A spacious park with a man-made stream, expansive grass lawn, and athletic grounds. There’s also tennis courts and a camp ground, and a variety of events are held on Sundays and holidays. Men and women of all ages can also enjoy the park’s seasonal flowering plants and refresh themselves. The Mura Café opened in the park in 2017 serving light meals, it even easier to enjoy a day at the park.
