A mountain stream fishing ground situated along National Route 299 in Ashigakubo, Yokoze Town, Chichibu County, Saitama Prefecture. Here visitors can enjoy fly fishing and fishing with live bait and lures in a lush, naturally beautiful area. Visitors can bring the trout, char, and other fish they catch to the facility's restaurant to have it prepared for them; the establishment also serves river fish dishes, dishes made with ground dear and other meats, and udon and soba noodles. Visitors can also barbecue along the riverside.

休暇村奥武蔵に止まった際に利用しました。釣り具も餌も貸してくれるので手ぶらで釣りが出来るので便利です。釣った魚は100円で焼いて食べられます。家族で行きましたが子供達は初めての釣りで良い体験が出来て良かったです。

Situated in the Prefectural Nagatoro Tamayodo Nature Park in a great location right in front of the Arakawa Campsite, WaterPark Nagatoro is a campground which offers rafting, boat trips and a fishing area. The campground has equipment to hire and buy so if you do forget anything you won’t be stuck. With lots of wooden huts to stay in it’s a great place to enjoy some outdoor fun.

人生初のラフティング、子供たちも満喫していました。雨の中でのキャンプでしたが、シャワーもトイレも清潔で快適に過ごせました。帰りに美味しい蕎麦も堪能し、SLも間近で見られて、充実した一泊二日になりました。

This botanical garden is in Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture. In addition to direct management from producers, this garden was built to offer plant growing advice and training for volunteers and local residents to help promote the planting of trees, flowers and so on in the population. The grounds have over 2,000 varieties of plants and trees, including trees for exhibition, and the scenery changes with the season for year-round enjoyment.

A strawberry farm located in Shimotomi, Tokorozawa City. From early January to late May, visitors can enjoy an all-you-can-eat strawberry picking course which requires no advance reservation. The farm grows its strawberries on raised platforms standing one meter off the ground and incorporates universal design principles, making it easy for persons in wheelchairs and thus with strollers to enjoy strawberry picking as well. The farm also has a rest area and a shop selling strawberries and seasonal vegetables.

昔この辺に住んでいて久しぶりに行って見ると、いちご農園がありました。直売所で甘いイチゴを買いました。30分食べ放題もやっているらしいので次回は挑戦したいです。

This fruit farm is located along Prefectural Route 347 in Ashikariba, Hanno City. They grow five varieties of strawberries and ten varieties of grapes. Strawberry picking can be enjoyed from late December to around mid-May and grape picking from early August to around mid-September. It also directly sells strawberries and grapes.

家族でいちご狩りを楽しみました。狭山日高インター近くにあるので、圏央道を使う人には便利なロケーションです。コロナ対策がしっかりしていて、スタッフの方のいちご狩りの説明も丁寧でした。品種も多く、埼玉県でしか栽培されていないいちごを扱っていました。 30分でしたが、充分なほどいちごを食べることができました。ほうじ茶やコーヒーがセルフサービスで飲めるのも有り難かったです^_^

From January until around June, you can enjoy strawberry picking as well as interacting with the rabbits and goats that are raised on the farm. In addition, a nearby pond is well known as a spot for fireflies. For the duration of the firefly season, that begins in around mid-June, you can use the farm’s parking lot.
