This safari park is located in Okamoto, Tomioka City. There’s a bus that visitors can ride and feed lions and various herbivores, as well as a night safari, a bird show, and other activities for observing the animals. There are many other intriguing sights, including the “Wild Cat World” walking safari, which lets you observe tigers, lions, and other felines up close, and the “Wolf Forest/Wolf Repopulation Center” where endangered wolves are bred and available for viewing.

I like animals, but dont like seeing animals locked up. While the animals are not in small cages they are still enclosed in areas that arent big enoug for them to run around in they also have roads...

Gunma Pref. Annakashi Matsuidamachiyokokawa 407-16

This is a railroad theme park located in Annaka City’s Matsuida Town established on the site of the former JR Yokokawa Locomotive Depot rail yard. The main attraction is the locomotive engineer experience in which visitors can drive a real 108-ton electric locomotive (reservation required). Inside the park is a Railway Museum where visitors can learn about the history of the now-abandoned Usui Line and the Railway Display Hall which houses more than 30 valuable train cars. Visitors can ride a steam locomotive that goes around the park, a miniature steam locomotive and a trolley train, making this park popular among both children and railroad fans alike.

Just a great place to visit. Come early and see a lot. Best days are with clear weather. Due to COVID-19, the visitors has reduced.

This natural history museum located in Kamikuroiwa, Tomioka City, Gunma Prefecture focuses on the history of life starting with Earth’s origin and Gunma Prefecture’s natural environment. Among the dynamic, popular exhibits are a full scale moving model of a Tyrannosaurus Rex and a diorama of a beech forest. Kids love learning from the many hands-on exhibits too. In addition to the permanent exhibits, there is also a special exhibition room, an astronomical observatory, a learning room, and an information corner.

This is a really great natural history museum. It is not a big museum but the collection is well displayed and presents a comprehensive overview of geology, age of dinosaurs, regional natural history...

"This art museum is located in a prefectural park in Gunma Prefecture, next to the Gunma no Mori bus stop, accessible by the City loop bus from the JR Takasaki Station. It contains around 2,000 pieces of diverse modern art, ranging from Japanese works, such as Sotaro Yasui's ""Ashi wo arau onna"" and foreign artists such as Claude Monet's ""Water Lilies"". Events including exhibitions in the exhibition room which straddles two floors, lectures in the auditorium and workshops are held on the second floor. This dinosaur exhibition hall is located in Kanna Town, Tano County, Gunma Prefecture. It features displays of fossils including dinosaur footprints and aquatic organisms. The main attraction is their live theater with dynamic robot dinosaurs. This municipal park is located in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture, next to the City loop Gunma no Mori bus stop. The park was built to commemorate the Meiji centennial anniversary and became fully open to the public in 1980. It is well known as a park with many wild birds due to the luxuriant foliage of the trees and plentiful sources of water. In addition to this, the Gunma Museum of Modern Art and Gunma Prefectural Museum of History are located within the park, and a variety of workshops, exhibitions and classrooms are held using these facilities.

いつもは近代美術館の催し物を目当てにドライブするのですが、ただいま近隣の道路も施設も工事中でした。休館の中も公園はウォーキングやサイクリングをする人で賑わっていました。整備された森はウォーキングに最高です。空気も綺麗だし大木の景色、木漏れ日、どれも癒されます。

Famous as a great place for cherry blossom trees in fields, this park is located in Misato Town, Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture. Every year from early April to early May, roughly 260,000 cherry blossom trees bloom together on the field, forming a gorgeous flowery blanket. With a motif based on the “peach-colored clothes left behind by Ori-hime,” red, white, and pink cherry trees have been planted in spiraling bands around the whole hill, to spectacular effect. During the month-long peak season, the “Misato Shiba-zakura Festival” is held, with events and local products for sale.

This forest and park is located in “Sky Corridor” —a resort area of Ueno Village, Tano County, Gunma Prefecture, and offers cottages, auto camping space, barbeque pavilions, and a cafe. A great spot for newbies to experience the outdoors, as it is perfect for day trips. From the hillside lookout, you can enjoy the wondrous natural views of “Sky Bridge” and the mountains all year long. There is outdoor kotatsu (“heated tables”) rental available in winter, so you can enjoy the night sky.

This museum is located in Kanekomachi, Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture. It was created for the purpose of conveying the wonderfulness of traditionally-made silk. There are panels showing the collection of silkworm cocoons, creating raw silk thread and scientific talks on silk thread, in addition to DVD showings concerning the subject. There are also experience classes for visitors to try their hand at making silk coasters and luncheon mats. This nature park is located in Fujioka City, Gunma Prefecture, and in addition to being a nationally recognized place of scenic beauty, is a designated Natural Monument with its Winter cherry trees. It of course has cherry blossoms in the spring, but also has Winter cherry blossoms which come into full bloom from mid-November to early December. During the Winter cherry blossom period, the park is illuminated in the evenings, and every year on December 1st, the Sakurayama Festival is held on the vast open lawn to celebrate the full bloom. The Japanese garden which uses a large number of Sanbaseki stones also has a tea house, which during events also holds tea ceremonies.

富岡市出身の画家です。人物を題材にした画がおおかったようなほんとに１人の人が描いた作品なのかと思うぐらいです。館内は綺麗で作品をみながらクイズに答え正解すると絵ハガキまたは紙風船が貰えます。私が気にいったのは1982年の顔という作品です。

This museum is located in Gunma Prefecture, approximately five minutes' walk from Gunma no mori bus stop, accessible by the City loop bus from the JR Takasaki Station. It contains a range of artifacts for visitors to learn about, from those excavated from the Paleolithic archaeological site of Iwajuku and Watanuki Kannonyama ancient tomb to modern pieces such as those from the Tomioka Silk Mill and industrial items from Subaru (automotive manufacturer). In addition to the permanent exhibitions, there are also themed displays. Lectures are also held on subjects such as Gunma's ancient tombs and people of the Sengoku Period, in addition to workshops on the creation of Magatama and accessories with the theme of Jomo Karuta.

A strawberry farm located in Tomioka City, Gunma Prefecture. The farm grows its strawberries using both regular soil planting and raised planters, and visitors can enjoy picking six different strawberry varieties here year-round. During the morning, those with an advance reservation are given priority, but if there's a surplus of strawberries, anyone can drop by in the afternoon without a reservation and pick ripe, red strawberries. The farm's 30-minute all-you-can-eat picking sessions include free sweet condensed milk to enjoy with your berries. Picking sessions also include free wet hand towels, so there's no need to worry about getting sticky and dirty. The farm has a shop which sells different strawberry varieties for you to purchase as a gift or souvenir. There's an adjoining toilet and handwashing area, ensuring even families with children can have fun easily here.

This campsite is located on the shore of Lake Haruna, approximately 40 minutes from the Kan’etsu Expressway Shibukawa Ikaho Interchange. The lush green forest campsite was designed to be child-and-family-friendly. There are a range of facilities, including diaper changing sheets and Washlet toilets, so visitors can comfortably enjoy camping with small children. There are tent campsites, bungalows and sites for camper vans. There are also a variety of items for rental, such as the Beginners’ Camping Set (reservation required), which has everything one might need in it.

バンガローに一泊しました。プラス点:バンガローは安くて(八千五百円)て綺麗。センターハウス、サニタリー関係は高規格で清潔。グループキャンプ禁止らしく落ち着いた雰囲気の客層。マイナス点:子供向けのアクティビティがない。広場はあるが遊具はブランコとターザンロープくらいなので楽しみが少ないかな。榛名神社はとても良かったです。

This museum is located three minutes from JR Takasaki Station Nishi-guchi (West exit) by foot. It has a variety of exhibits, such as paintings, sculptures and designs, mainly on contemporary art. It is near to the station, making it an easy-to-visit art space. The museum has many art collections, including Kaoru Yamaguchi, Masao Tsuruoka and other works in connection with Takasaki City, and holds gallery talks and workshop events around planned exhibitions. The Former Inoue Fusaichiro Residence on the premises was designed after the famous architect, Antonin Raymond's home and workplace.
