A public bathhouse situated on the right hand side of the Ikaho Stone Steps which leads up to Ikaho Shrine in Ikaho, Ikaho Town. The brown spring waters drawn up from the source which fill the bathtub are said to be good for backache and other ailments. It’s a great place to stop off for a dip for those visiting Ikaho Shrine or the Stone Steps.

伊香保温泉名物の石段の横にある共同浴場。露天風呂なし。小さな内風呂が１つあるだけ。自分が行ったのは、平日の昼飯時だが、客が数人いた。そのほとんどが地元に住んでいるらしいお年寄り。湯はうぐいす色。湯には成分の濃さが感じられず。水道水の加水があるのかも？私の住む埼玉には、ここより泉質が優れた日帰り温泉が幾つもある。そういう事を考えると、ここへまた行く事はない。

"A day trip hot spring bathhouse located a two-minute walk from JR Maebashi Station. The bathhouse' vaunted private natural sodium chloride spring wells up from directly underneath the facility. This spring, also known as the ""Netsu no Yu,"" is adjusted so that the waters are just a little on the lukewarm side. The bathhouse sells sets which include a towel and robe, etc., making it easy to stop by here without needing to bring anything. In addition to an indoor bathing area, the bathhouse's bright, open, and airy outdoor bath has a view of a beautiful courtyard area for bathers to enjoy. Other facilities include a dry sauna and steam bath, as well as a bedrock bath back you can take a relaxing soak in with a reservation made at the front reception desk."

「泉質がいい」という噂だが、行って実際に入ってみると、それが本当だとわかった。内湯も外湯も、少々ぬるみがあり、入るとすぐ(これは、体の芯まで温まりそうだな)と思った。泉質は伊香保、熱海らと同レベルだというが、本当では？また駅から徒歩数分で行けてしまうアクセスの良さもあり、高い評価とした。

This day-use hot springs bath resort is just a 2-minute walk from the Onogami Onsen Station. Keeping the same quality water of the former Onogami hot springs center, which drew its waters from the Onogami springs flowing from the Agatsuma River banks, this resort has been newly renovated. There is a small garden with the main bath, an outdoor bath, and a private bath in the individual rooms, creating a refined space for relaxation and healing. Containing sodium, calcium ion and mildly alkalescent, Onogami hot springs waters are gentle on the skin and thus called ‘the waters for beautiful women’. The resorts own original gel and lotion products incorporating the source waters are also sold here.

Located in Ikaho Town, Shibukawa City, Gunma Prefecture, Ikaho Rotenburo is a public outdoor bath fed with spring water directly from the source. The dark brown water is said to be good for female disorders and has therefore been praised by women to be the “water of childbirth”. The large round tub is divided in half. One side is full of hot water and the other side warm water. In autumn it’s a wonderful place to enjoy the beautifully colored leaves.

伊香保の急な階段を登り切ったところを右に曲がれば、この伊香保露天風呂があります。更衣室はなく、風呂の前にロッカーがあります。湯船はあまり大きくはありませんが、のんびりできる、お風呂です。

場所は良いけど景色が全く見えません。沼田市の望郷の湯やしゃくなげの湯のようにもう少し周りの景色が楽しめれば良いんだけど。やっぱり、近くにゴミ処理場があるから余熱利用なのかなぁ〜。でも、安いんです。

There are also three types of sauna available. A herbal sauna, a salt sauna (women-only) and a Löyly sauna (men-only), and several times a day, there is a Löyly event where staff pour aromatic water on the heated stones to raise steam from them.

群馬県内、巨大な施設がいろいろあるので、施設としては普通ですが、お湯の質が良いのか、ゆったりできます。露天風呂、それほど広くはないのですが、炭酸泉の浴槽もあり、気に入っています。

This hot spring inn is located three minutes’ walk from the Ikaho Haruna Guchi bus stop. The bus can be taken from Shibukawa Station in Gunma Prefecture. There are two types of hot spring, an outdoor bath which is a golden color and a transparent indoor bath. The spring water is said to be effective against nerve pain and fatigue. 18 works of art by Yumeji Takehisa are displayed in the corridor to the bathing area. Visitors to the hot spring can choose from a selection of courses prepared as part of a buffet-style dinner. There are dishes made with local ingredients including Shimonita leeks, fresh fish dishes and sashimi. There are also a variety of rooms, from brightly lit Japanese-style rooms to calming rooms that have a mixed Japanese-Western design.

A day trip hot spring bathhouse located an eight-minute drive from the Shibukawa-Ikaho Interchange. The bathhouse' alkaline spring wells up from underneath the bank of the Tone River. The bathhouse has an indoor bath area with an adjoining sauna and bath heated from below, as well as a large outdoor bath with a panoramic view. With an additional fee, customers can use a family bath or private room, ensuring even families with small children can have a relaxing time here. The adjoining restaurant serves dishes made with an abundance of local Yoshioka ingredients at reasonable prices, and there is a tatami mat hall where you can relax after your bath. Visitors are encouraged to make use of this bathhouse after playing outside or doing some sports in the adjoining Ryokuchi Sports Park.

道の駅よしおかにある温泉施設と食堂です。それぞれ独立しているので単独で利用できる他、食事と温泉のセットで得になるプランもあります。今回は食事だけでチャーシューメンをいただきましたが無難な味、時間があるときに温泉も利用してみたいと思います。

"This day trip hot spring bathhouse is located in Yoshioka Town, Kitagunma District, Gunma Prefecture. The waters of the bathhouse' sodium hydrogen carbonate spring contain sodium chloride, said to be good for fatigue and other ailments, and are also supposed to beautify the skin and promote warmth retention. The bathhouse has an indoor bathing area where you can enjoy baths constantly replenished ""kakenagashi"" style from the source spring, a relaxing jet bath, ""tsuboyu"" personal baths, an outdoor bath, and a variety of other baths. Additionally, there's a high temperature sauna and a bedrock bath which costs a small additional fee but which will wash away the fatigue of the way. The bathhouse also has a private room with an outdoor bath where groups or families can enjoy a relaxing time in private. This bathing facility is located in Shikishima Onsenkyo Hot Spring Village. It is a weakly alkaline hypotonic high-temperature spring, which is said to be effective for nerve pain and muscle pain. In addition to the outdoor bath, there is also gender separated stone and cypress indoor baths, which are on a 10-day rotating schedule. Inside the facility, there is also a 25-meter heated pool with a water slide, as well as a walking-bath and standard swimming that people of any age can easily use for exercise. There are also free foot bath facilities, so visitors can soak their feet and relax.

内風呂は大きさは十分ですが、室内が暗いイメージがあります。露天風呂はそれほど大きくないのですが、外の景色も良くて快適です。休憩室が3か所ありゆっくし過ごせます。以前は室内プールがあって子供たちが喜んでいましたが、今はゲームコーナーになってしまったようでざんねんです。

This day-use hot spring facility is just a 25-minute drive from the Isezaki Interchange and situated among the rice paddies with a view of beautiful Mt. Akagi. Within the bathing hall, glassed-in with large windows and warmly lit with beams of sunlight, there are inner baths, outdoor, and hinoki cedar baths which are all fed from the two water sources of Kasukawa springs and Kasukawa-Nakanosawa springs. The pride of the facility being the outdoor bath designed with mammoth natural boulders. The waters are said to be beneficial for nerve pain, muscle, soreness, joint pain and sensitivity to cold. In addition to the baths, there is also a 25-meter long heated pool, which is good for getting exercise and stress relief when coupled with the use of the hot sprints baths. The shop sells towels and other bathing necessities, so one can stop by anytime.

This day-use hot spring bathhouse is adjoined to the Roadside Station Fujimi, approximately 20-minute drive from the Akagi Interchange on the Kan-Estu Expressway via the Prefectural Route 70 and the National Route 353. From the outdoor bath one has a panoramic view of the Maebashi City, which is an especially beautiful sigh at night. The water is drawn from one of the few sources in the Kanto region that is over 1,500 meters underground and is sodium and calcium chloride rich spring. These waters are said to be beneficial for skin diseases, nerve pain, women’s disorders, sensitivity to cold, stiff shoulders, and other symptoms. In the winter, after coming out of the outoside bath with your body heated to warm red glow, allowing your body to cool down with against Akagi air is exhilarating.

露天風呂がないので、あったらもっと良いですが、温泉の質は良いと思います。運動浴が出来る深い風呂の歩き回りながら入る風呂は、かなりぬるく、他の風呂は、若干熱めだったように思います。大人一人600円でした。

A free footbath in front of the Kisigon Ryokan inn in the Ikaho hot spring district which anyone may use. The spacious footbath is able to accommodate up to 10 people at a time, and guests at the inn may borrow a towel for free as well, meaning no need to bring your own. The footbath is located midway along the Ishidan-gai stone step street where many souvenir shops are located, making it a great place to soothe tired feet in the midst of exploring the town and enjoying its culinary delights. The footbath was also famously used for shooting scenes from the movie “Thermae Romae.” The footbath is open from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; the bath gets crowded on Saturdays and Sundays, so visitors are encouraged to be forgiving of each other and compromise so everyone can enjoy it.

A free footbath available for anyone to use at the entrance to Hotel Kindayu. Hours are from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. The waters are clear and a perfect 42°C. The hot spring is beneficial for muscle pain, wounds, and sensitivity to cold. There are also free towels available for use, making it possible to enjoy the footbath without any special advance preparations. Another feature of the footbath is its location in a back alley off of the otherwise often crowded Ishidan-gai stone step street, enabling visitors to enjoy a quiet foot soak in spite of the nearby hustle and bustle.

A hot spring district sprawling halfway up Mt. Haruna which has been known as a hot spring health resort destination since ancient times. There are two source springs in the area with differing properties, the Kogane no Yu and Shirogane no Yu, and the hot spring district bustles with visitors throughout the year. The Kogane no Yu is a reddish-brown sulfate spring containing abundant amounts of calcium and sodium; highly medicinal, the spring's waters are said to promote health and ease muscle soreness, chronic digestive diseases, and hardening of the arteries. The Shirogane no Yu is a transparent and odorless simple met silicic acid spring containing large amounts of moisturizing substances, making its waters particularly popular with women.

飲める温泉ということで飲んでみましたが、文字通り、鉄の味がします。ほんとに体にいいのか？と思ってしまうぐらいの強烈な鉄分の味です。
