This resort hotel is located at a high altitude of 1,800 meters, approximately 80 minutes from the Joshin-etsu Expressway Usui-Karuizawa Interchange. Manza Onsen has characteristic cloudy spring water and four different types of spring water from sources managed by the company which are piped to eight baths, of which one is reserved for women only, and of which the Sekitei outdoor bath is most famous. It is an acidic sulfuric magnesium sodium sulfur chloride spring. It is said to have a skin cleansing effect and to be effective for nerve pain, sensitivity to cold, recovery from fatigue, etc. At the buffet restaurant, Shirane, visitors can enjoy dishes made with local seasonal ingredients. It is also possible for non-guests of the hotel to use the baths.

日帰り温泉のプラン利用が良いと思いました。宿泊、日帰り温泉プラン利用したことがあり、今回は昼食プランというのがあったので利用してみました。ランチも日新館でお金払えば食べれますので日帰り温泉プラン利用をお勧めします。昼食プランの食事は期待以下でした。

This is a day hot spring facility at Agatsumakyo Roadside Station, about 20 minutes via National Route 145 to the west of Higashi-Agatsuma, Agatsuma County, Gunma Prefecture. The onsen is set in a natural environment and the hot spring water quality, warming bathers to the core, is delightful. The facility includes an indoor bath, outdoor bath, bath to lay in, and baths for private use. Towels are sold on site so anyone can easily enjoy a bath. Rooms for private use are also available so visitors can enjoy the Tengu-no-yu in privacy. The “Kantsu Seki” stone from Moshirou Tunnel, placed in the outdoor bath, is regarded as a guardian stone beneficial in helping to conquer difficulties, achieving academic success and easy delivery.

吾妻峡温泉天狗の湯へやって来た。草津温泉に向かう前最後の入浴へとやって来た。以前八ッ場三兄弟の湯と言われる湯があったが、その中の湯の源泉は、JR吾妻線のトンネル工事の際に湧出した湯であったが、この湯ももしかしたら・・・可能性ありだね。

This day-trip hot spring facility is managed by Annaka City and is located five minutes’ walk from the JR Shin’etsu Main Line’s Isobe Station. There are Japanese-style and western-style bathrooms with both outdoor baths and a large bath, separated by gender that are on a rotating daily schedule. There are also two types of sauna, one far infrared, and one steam sauna, as well as a disabled bath which can be accessed by a lift. The Sand-Salt Bath which is full of white sand and minerals is also very popular for its circulation and sweat promoting and metabolism-boosting qualities. (Reservation required.) It is a copper and iron-content sodium chloride hydrogen carbonate spring which also has a high salt content, and is said to be effective for nerve pain and chronic digestive diseases, etc.

短時間の滞在なら、かなりお安く入館できます。ただ、私が利用した日は、２階の施設がメンテナンスのため利用できませんでした。そのせいか、入浴後に休めるような休憩所は大広間しかなく、あまり寛げませんでした。温泉の質は滑らかで、肌がしっとりとして体が温まりました。駅から徒歩で行けますが、道が狭く交通量が多いので、ご注意を。

鹿沢でのキャンプ帰りに立ち寄りました。源泉掛け流しで、岩盤浴もありゆっくり過ごすことができます。施設は古いですが、この地域の日帰り温泉としては十分と思います。内湯は子どもには熱いですが、露天風呂であれば入れました。

Located across the Takaragawa River from the inn, the four open-air baths include the mixed-gender Maka no Yu, Hannya no Yu, and Kodakara no Yu, as well as the women-only Maya no Yu. This natural hot spring, rich in nature and close to Takasaki City in Gunma Prefecture, is about 30 minutes from Matsuida-Myogi Interchange on the Joshin-etsu Expressway. The facility provides accommodation or can be used as a day spa or for parties. At the spacious restaurant under the unique octagonal dome-shaped roof, visitors can taste the famous “kamameshi (flavored rice cooked in a small pot) and in autumn and winter the “Okkirikomi” (noodles cooked in a pot with vegetables). The famous secret hot spring “Seseragi-no-yu” is colorless and transparent when it bubbles to the surface, but over time changes to a reddish-brown color. Visitors can leisurely enjoy the dense cloudy hot spring that changes depending on the time and the weather.

It has a Kappa bath, named after the legend of the Kamagafuchi Kappa told in Watarase River, upstream of the center, and also a bathing room with large windows that has a view of the Watarase River. The water is a nice and hot, and it is a carbon dioxide sodium calcium chloride bicarbonate cold mineral spring. 場所は良いけど景色が全く見えません。沼田市の望郷の湯やしゃくなげの湯のようにもう少し周りの景色が楽しめれば良いんだけど。やっぱり、近くにゴミ処理場があるから余熱利用なのかなぁ〜。でも、安いんです。

This hot spring facility is located in Gunma Prefecture along Route 74, approximately 1 kilometer north of the JR Isesaki Station. It is a bicarbonate salt spring, said to have a cleansing effect on the skin. 100% of the water drawn for the baths flows directly from the source 1,500 meters underground. The facility has a large outdoor bathing area and outdoor bath, as well as a highly concentrated carbonated spring and a salt sauna. There are also private rooms with a bath available, where visitors can take their time relaxing. It is also possible to arrange for meals with seasonal dishes to be prepared in the dining hall. This day-use spa is a part of the Roadside Station Rokugo. It's sodium calcium-sulphate chloride hot spring water is a bit cloudy and has distinctive dark floating deposits. Bathing here is said to help alleviate muscle soreness and nerve pain. In addition to an indoor bath with plenty of water, there is also a foot bath that anyone can use freely. They also have a low table with a heating element and blanket known as a kotatsu in the break room to help you unwind after your bath. This day-trip natural hot spring with indoor and outdoor baths is located approximately 19 minutes from the Kan’etsu Expressway Akagi Interchange. The outdoor stone hot spring which visitors can relax in also has various smaller baths, such as the lie-down bath and high concentration carbonated spring, which are especially recommended for use at night. The large bath has wide steps, so it is safe for everyone, since it does not have any sudden changes of depth. It is a sodium chloride hydrogen carbonate spring (high temperature, hypotonic, weak alkaline) and is said to be effective for nerve pain, sensitivity to cold etc. Visitors can also enjoy singing karaoke in the private rooms with attached natural hot spring baths.

This day use hot spring facility, located about three-minutes by car from the Shibukawa-Ikaho Interchange on the Kanetsu Expressway, features as spaceship-like design. The bathhouse which includes an open-air bath is at a height of 15 meters above the ground, and from the “Akagi-no-yu” bath visitors can view Mt. Akagi and the Kanto Plain, and from the “Haruna-no-yu”, views of the mountains including Mt. Haruna can be enjoyed. Each week the allocation of the men and women baths are changed. 群馬県内、巨大な施設がいろいろあるので、施設としては普通ですが、お湯の質が良いのか、ゆったりできます。露天風呂、それほど広くはないのですが、炭酸泉の浴槽もあり、気に入っています。

This day-use spa is in Oigami Onsen, Tone Town. Guests unwind here bathing in the midst of their Japanese style garden that was designed by a Kyoto master gardener. The spa's hot spring source is on the premises, and the water is said to be good for the skin and help alleviate rheumatism. Facilities has two bath area. One is Tani no Yu with a view of Katashina River, including a bubbling bath, an indoor bath, and outdoor bath. The other is Taki no Yu with a view of a waterfall, including outside bathes such as reclining surrounded by rocks, and cascading as well as an indoor bath. They also have a footbath that's open in summer.

This hot spring inn is located three minutes’ walk from the Ikaho Haruna Guchi bus stop. The bus can be taken from Shibukawa Station in Gunma Prefecture. There are two types of hot spring, an outdoor bath which is a golden color and a transparent indoor bath. The spring water is said to be effective against nerve pain and fatigue. 18 works of art by Yumeji Takehisa are displayed in the corridor to the bathing area. Visitors to the hot spring can choose from a selection of courses prepared as part of a buffet-style dinner.
