    Location of this restaurant is good. It is just by the Main Street. Food is not bad but a little pricey. It is expected as it is a touristy place.

    You’ll find this deli along Prefectural Route 46 in Tomioka, Tomioka City. It is known for its Japanese-style rolled omelets made with locally produced eggs obtained fresh every morning. In addition to plain omelets, there’s also eel, cheese, crab, Shimonita green onion with chili oil, and other types available. Visitors can also enjoy baked manju buns with mulberry leaf, large-sized rice balls with boiled egg inside, and other items for sale. There is an eating area inside the shop.

    An onsen manju (hot spring bun) shop situated along the road leading from the Yubatake in the hot spring district in Kusatsu City to Sainokawara Park. The shop makes its own manju bun, and, in addition to the standard sweet red bean paste filling, the establishment also offers Japanese chestnut paste in a white bun as well as green pea paste in a matcha green tea bun. The shop always offers samples of steaming hot, fresh onsen manju bun for customers to try out front.

    You’ll find this bakery and cafe in the middle of the Mizukami Hot Spring district in Yubara, Minakami Town. In addition to handmade bread and baked sweets, there’s focaccia sandwiches, burgers with buns made with natural yeast, and morning toast sets, among others. You’ll also find apple pie made with Minakami apples, “maitake cookies” made with locally picked maitake mushrooms, and other popular items.

    美味しいパン屋さんです。お値段はリーズナブルです。名前がかわいいので気に入ってます。駐車場も広く停めやすかったです。

    Ever since its founding in 1857, this shop has focused on making manju buns. After adding malted rice to wheat and letting it ferment, a secret sauce containing red miso, granulated sugar, and other ingredients is added repeatedly before the bun is baked. The shop closes when it sells out, so it’s best to go early. The charming building is modeled after a private Joshu home like the one the original owner grew up in. It is about 10 minutes by car from JR Maebashi Station.

    群馬県の名物だと知って食べてみることにしました。 こちらは遊園地るなぱあくのすぐそば。 なかなか渋い店構えです。 1串に4つの大きな焼き饅頭。 多いとは思いましたが3串買いました。 餡子などの中身は入っておらず、パンのような焼き饅頭にみたらしが塗ってありました。 これは一個でお腹にたまります。 案の定余ってしまいました。 翌日に食べるのはオススメしません。 固くてベタベタです。

    At Pork Shabu Shabu (Japanese Steamboat) and Soba Tsukiya visitors can enjoy the famous “Yamato brand pork shabu shabu steamboat” and “fresh Soba buckwheat noodles” to finish off the meal. The calm atmosphere of the store is perfect for enjoying the food and a cup of sake. It is a popular place to hold farewell and welcome parties as the private rooms are available for groups of 10 to 20 people or reserve the whole restaurant can be reserved for parties of 20 to 50 people. As well as the pork shabu shabu, Yamato pork fried rice, Yamato pork belly, and black maitake mushroom tempura are recommended.

    The creative French and dessert restaurant/café, Chocolate Noix is a tastefully appointed shop using an original building constructed in 1927, which is a blend of Japanese and Western style. The restaurant is popular because of the reasonable prices and the cuisine served for lunch and dinner are all handmade. The homemade desserts and cakes are also original and make use of seasonal ingredients. Orders for wedding and birthday cakes are also accepted. It is a six minute walk from JR Kiryu Station.

    私はシェフのお任せのランチをいただきました。 また、選べるデザートは、クリームブリュレが絶品です。 数量限定だそうですので、早めにオーダーされることをお勧めします。 この日のお任せはサーモンのグリルでした。 とっても上品な味で、臭みなど全くなく、使われているソースもうま味たっぷり、これで２０００円以内なので、コスパはとても良いと思います。

    Kokoya, located on the Ikaho Stone Steps, is famous for its specialty Ikaho-yaki (octopus takoyaki). Visitors order the takoyaki on their way to worship at Ikaho Shrine, and they are ready to eat hot on their return. The tender and juicy takoyaki, crispy on the outside and filled with a large piece of octopus, are so popular that many visitors to Ikaho don’t go home without eating some. The menu also includes shaved ice, agar jelly, Oshiruko, a sweet red bean soup, and amazake (sweet rice wine) depending on the season.

Among the confectionaries made with Hana-ingen kidney beans, the lotus fruit ama-natto is rare. The ama-natto made with lotus fruit, which is known to be used in oriental medicinal cuisine, has a mild sweet taste.
