    The Honke Chichiya in Yubatake is popular for its freshly steamed two tone bean-jam filled buns. The buns are filled with chestnut paste wrapped in finely strained red-bean paste. Visitors can drop by while exploring the hot springs and enjoy the buns while soaking their feet in a footbath. The store in Yubatake is open until 21 :00 so visitors can enjoy evening in the hot spring town.

    This is a bakery, loved by the locals, near the Yanaka Elementary School, ten minutes by car from Takasaki Station on the JR Takasaki line. The bakery opens at 7:00 am and offers many kinds of bread such as sweet buns, savory bread, and bread for meals. The homemade curry in the in the ever-popular curry bread is delicious. To keep the umami flavor, the beef, onion, and carrot are grilled and then boiled, and then carefully flavored with two types of curry roux and a secret ingredient. Baked confectionaries such as Croquembouche and other sweets are also recommended. There is a free coffee service offered to patrons as well as a place to eat on site.

    This is a specialty spice store, founded in 1896, creating an original blend of seven kinds of spice using red pepper, sesame, hemp seed, Sancho Japanese pepper, dried citrus peel (mandarin peel) perilla, and aonori (green laver) using traditional recipes. In addition to standard cans, the shop also sells cute peanut-shaped bottles with red, yellow and green caps. The spice flavor is usually medium or spicy, but even spicier flavors are available on Saturday and Sunday.

In addition to selling maitake mushrooms grown in 100 days, nutritional foods, powdered mushroom tea, and take-home mushroom rice sets are also available. The center also provides a place to relax leisurely during a trip or drive.

There's also an eat-in space, plus sweets sold only here and not in normal stores. Particularly recommended is the rich and flavorful special custard pudding. You can also have your purchases placed in a gift box for giving to someone.

    This farmers market opened in 2009 is located an 18-minute/10 kilometer drive from the Shibukawa-Ikaho interchange on the Kan-etsu Expressway via Prefectural Route 33. In addition to fresh picked vegetables, the market's diverse selection includes Mizusawa udon noodles, Ikaho Onsen manju buns, and fresh flowers. Of particular note is the market which sells local products straight from the producers. Selling organic vegetables, specially cultivated vegetables, and mineral-rich vegetables, all of the vegetables reassuringly bear the name of the producer and production area. Yukian, the market's restaurant, serves spicy, flavorful curry udon noodles.

    日帰り温泉で食べるお弁当を買いに立ち寄りました。早かったので種類は多くなかったですが、栗ご飯と卵のサンドイッチを購入。 入浴後に頂きましたが、美味しかったです。 新鮮なレタスやキャベツが山積みされてました。

    A cultural facility built to support art and culture activities in Maebashi City. The facility makes use of a former commercial complex located in the heart of the city. In addition to hold irregular special exhibitions, the facility holds art tours and workshops which can be enjoyed by everyone from small children to senior citizens. In the facility's archive, you can view records of its activities as well as books on the arts. The adjoining cafe serves seasonal coffees and tasty sweets prepared by a patissier. The museum shop sells colorful art merchandise.

    The first day of HIKKURIKOGAKKURIKO. It was possible to know good of the town in Maebashi. Here is home of Hagiwara Sakutaro and Ryoji Arai. It was the nice art museum where I touch an area.
