    This long running restaurant in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture was founded in 1905. Particularly known for its authentic yuba tofu cuisine, it is in a quiet location where you can feel Nikko’s seasons. They offer a diverse menu with dishes like yuba sashimi, yuba soba, and their yuba-no-kaori gozen meals. Homemade Japanese hamburger steaks garnished with Nikko maitake mushrooms and Western dishes such as pasta are also popular. The spacious restaurant features both table and Japanese zashiki seating. It caters to large groups and families with children as well.

Situated near the central starting point for the park's hiking courses, here customers can enjoy handmade soba noodles made with an abundance of local buckwheat flour. The restaurant's traditional flavors, prepared by local housewives, are perfect for enjoying after a nature hike. The restaurant's manju steamed buns, which are made by hand starting from the filling, are also highly acclaimed. The surrounding area is a famous destination for viewing Genji fireflies, and when the fireflies appear in June, a variety of locally-operated food stalls also open up nearby. There's also the Hikoma-Sengen Hiking Trails, along which you can see flowering plants such as Asian skunk cabbages, eastern skunk cabbages, dogtooth violets, and azaleas.

    This yana fish trap on the Naka River is a local summertime tradition. The extra-large trap, 21 meters long and 10 meters wide, appears in July each year. Yana fish traps date back to the distant Yayoi period and are built according to a traditional method using cedar logs and bamboo. Including the time involved in making preparations, construction takes around half a year. From early summer to autumn, visitors can take in the scenery of the Naka River while enjoying sweetfish set meals, charcoal broiled sweetfish, and candied sweetfish containing roe.

    This restaurant is located on the grounds of Roadside Station Yunoka Shiobara. Located in a corner of the Agripal Shiobara farmers' market, the restaurant serves handmade soba noodles, udon noodles, and side dishes made with fresh vegetables straight from the farm. Its dishes, made with buckwheat and wheat flour from specially contracted farms, are simple and have an old-fashioned, home cooked flavor. The restaurant's handmade yuzu miso is particularly popular and goes perfectly with furofuki boiled daikon and oden hotpot. The makigari nabeyaki Udon noodles, a local specialty, are made with an abundance of local vegetables; only served on Saturdays, they are also limited to just 10 customers a day.

    タッチパネルで注文すると、結構な速さで皿を載せた台がレーンを流れてきます。よって、寿司が常に新しいのが良いですな。カラカラのネタを掴まされることはありません! 外の看板に、ぶりトロを見かけ、回転寿司にしては珍しいので入ってみたら、売り切れ!んー、ザンネン!しかたなく外のネタを食しました。寿司自体はまあ、普通ですな。
