    A farm-themed amusement facility dedicated to nature, agriculture, and food located a 10-minute drive from the Tsukuba-Ushiku interchange. There's a farm-fresh shop, activity farm, barbecue hall, and bamboo forest, giving visitors the chance to come in contact with food education and local agriculture surrounded by natural beauty. The buffet-style restaurant serves dishes made with fresh, seasonal vegetables and handmade hams and sausages. The facility also holds sausage making classes on weekends using roast pork from Ibaraki Prefecture.

    野菜直売所巡りでここにたどり着く。レストラン併設で隣が野菜売り場、海の幸や肉類もあった気がする。他の直売所と比べて高級、品質も値段も高い。その中で見つけた豊水梨、ずっと食べたかったシャキシャキの甘酸っぱい梨、落涙モノ。お値段もしっかりしていたが久々に美味しい梨有難う。表には果樹などもたくさん売られ、いるだけで楽しい。

    石原さとみがメトロのＣＭで出ていたもので行ってみました。 内装も蔵造りでレトロな感じが出ています。 壁が厚いので線路のそばなのに、外の音まはったく聞こえません。 時間がゆっくり流れている気がしました。 ホットケーキセットとチーズケーキセットをいただきましたが、味は普通です。 しかし、この雰囲気は気に入りましたので、また行ってみたいお店です。

It sells fresh agricultural products such as fruit and vegetables grown in the rich soil of the Yasato district, as well as prepared products. There is also a natural foods restaurant that uses Yasato-grown vegetables.

    An incense workshop which has operated for 100 years, since Japan’s Meiji period. Komamura Seimeido makes its incense by grinding dried Japanese cedar leaves in a water wheel-powered mill. Each batch is slowly ground over a 40 hour period, preventing the generation of excess heat during the process and preserving the fragrance of the cedar. The workshop’s Chrysanthemum incense sticks, used during the city of Kasama’s Chrysanthemum Festival, are particularly popular. Komamura Seimeido also sells its incense direct. The workshop also provides tours and mini incense making classes with an advance reservation.

    1月2日訪問 筑波山ケーブルカー山頂を降り、数件あるお茶屋さんの一つ。 名物はやはり表題の通りつくばうどんで、とにかく暖まりますし、「なないろ」なる七味唐辛子はみかん成分が入っており意外とマイルド。 しかし、注意は老夫婦がやっているので急ぐ人にはお勧めしません。 ゆっくりしたい人向け。

    殆どが地元で取れた野菜を販売しているお店、一部他地域のものがあって考えさせられる。そこまでして置かなくて良いのではないか、と。まぁでも新鮮野菜なのは間違えないし、近くにいたら通うと思う。

    この近辺には道の駅が少なく、農産物直売所は独立してやってるところがチラホラ、ここもその一つ。こぢんまりしたスペースに地元野菜などがぎっしりと売られている。今冬は大根やネギが豊作のようで、とても安い。その他野菜も気持ちいい安さ新鮮さ。日常使いに良いお店。

    五月のお天気の良い日に行きました。 山頂はまだ肌寒かったのですが、こちらはかき氷の種類が多くて寒さ知らずのお子さんには魅力的かと思います。 冷たいものとは真逆に温かいメニューも豊富。 うどん、そば、ラーメン、モツ煮、おしるこ、カレーなどなど。 小腹がすいている時に良い食堂です。
