    A boxed lunch shop selling eel and tsukudani foods boiled and preserved in soy sauce. Established in 1916, the shop is located a three-minute walk from the west exit of Tsuchiura Station on the JR Joban Line. The shop's kabayaki, made only with eel from trusted sources, is deep steamed and grilled by an experienced chef, resulting in meat that is plump, tender, and clean-tasting. In addition to kabayaki, the shop also offers Unaju (grilled eel and rice boxes) and bento box lunches, as well as anago (garden eel) bento box and chirashi sushi crafted with the skills of a long-standing eel cuisine purveyor. Other selections include Yawatamaki rolls made with burdock from Ibaraki and kimoyaki grilled liver, plus foods sold in sealed vacuum packs like tsukudani perfect for giving as a gift. The shop also has a space where customers can eat top quality, fresh-grilled Unaju during lunchtime.

    "A long-standing eel restaurant located a five-minute drive from JR Mito Station which cherishes a spirit of hospitality and traditional techniques handed down since it was established in 1822. All of the restaurant's seating is in private rooms and diners can choose between tatami mat seating, sunken kotatsu style seating, or table seating. In addition to the traditional unaju broiled eel over rice box, the restaurant's ""Shirayaki,"" eel broiled without any sauce, is particularly recommended. The ""Shirayaki"" is a popular choice which gives diners the chance to savor the innate texture and taste of the eel meat, which becomes even more flavorful with the addition of wasabi. The restaurant also carries choice, renowned sakes from breweries located in the prefecture."

    A long-standing eel restaurant which has been in business for 80 years. Tsurumaiya stands along National Route 6, nicknamed the Eel Highway.. This stems from that the fact that since ancient times, the area around Ushiku Swamp has been used for catching eels and this region was also where the unagi-don eel rice bowl was invented, resulting in many eel restaurants opening up next to each other here. One of Tsurumaiya's charms is the view of Ushiku Swamp from the restaurant's windows. Primarily serving eel kabayaki (broiled in soy sauce), Tsurumaiya also offers local dishes such as koikoku (round slices of carp simmered in miso) and koinoumani (savory stewed carp). Tsurumaiya is also available for small parties.

    牛久の佐貫駅からわりとすぐにあります。鶴舞屋さんは創業87年の老舗の鰻屋さんです。備長炭で焼いたうなぎは本当、美味しいねすよ。水曜日がお休みなので気をつけてくださいね。

    水戸と言えば鰻屋さんが多いので来るたびに食べてますが、今回は駅近で北口徒歩2分の沼田屋に行きました。三連休最終日の昼どきにお客さんはひと組だけでしたが、蒸して焼いて出てくるのを待っただけに美味しいうな重を食べることができました。松で肝吸いとお新香が付いて3,200円でした。

    正月に一族10人で鰻を食べに行きました。 いつもはテーブルですが子供もいるので小上がりで。広いのはいいね。 ぬ◯やさんの鰻が重量級なのに対してサッパリしてる印象で、うちは何十年も斎藤派です。 高速のインターも近いし普段はゴルフ帰りの人も多いです。以上!また食べたい!

    土用の丑の日近くの週末は夕方5時半で満席の賑わいでした。 三河一色産うなぎの身のふっくら感と焼きの香ばしさ、塩気と甘みの加減が良いタレ、ご飯の炊き加減の3つのバランスが絶妙なうな重で大満足の味でした。 駐車場は店舗横と裏手にあります。

    たまに利用します。肝焼き、白焼き、うな重が定番コース。 パリッと焼く派で私は好きです。 食堂みたいな気負わないテーブルと座敷。 値段はうな重が最低3000円から。この辺りではリーズナブルな方かと。

    好きな鰻料亭です。夜は、コースで飲み物別で5500円で食べれます。鰻弁当2700円は、最高です。予約して行って下さい。日曜・祭日はお休みです。
