- Ryusenbo is a soba restaurant located in 2 Chome Shimizudai, Koriyama City. The restaurant offers freshly grounded, freshly kneaded, and freshly boiled soba noodles made with the finest homemade buckwheat flour grounded on a stone mill. As well as various soba dishes on offer either as an individual dish or as part of a course meal, such as sobagaki (buckwheat mash), sobayaki-miso (grilled buckwheat and miso), and sobasashi (thin slices of cooked soba), the restaurant also serves udon noodles made with domestic wheat.

- This shop serves Shirakawa soba, considered one of Japan's four major styles along with Shinshu, Izumo, and Morioka. The shop grows its own buckwheat native to the Oihara district, a nature-embraced highland about 500 meters above sea level, which it then grinds itself for freshly grind, freshly making, and freshly boiling soba. The shop faces the Abukuma River, and is perfect for spending some quiet rural moments as you enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. They are popular for their focus on additive-free, aromatic soba with natural sweetness. Inside, they also sell their select soba flour and fresh soba noodle (by reservation), as well as buckwheat chaff pillows.

朝ご飯を頂きに行きました。初めてのお店ですので、やはり、天ぷらそばを注文。天ぷらは薄かったですが、丼全体に広がり、やはり天ぷらの甘みが出汁をまろやかにして美味しくします。そばは少し太めで、食べ応えがあります。美味しいそばだったと思います。また、食べに行きたいです。

うすい百貨店にある蕎麦屋です。自家製粉だそうで、地元産のそば粉を使っているそうです。蕎麦は細めながらもコシが感じられておいしかったです。

地元の人で賑わうお蕎麦屋さん。後から後からお客さんが来ます。こだわりの蕎麦とお水で作られたお蕎麦は幾らでも食べられそう。 お昼しか営業していないのと、ちょっと値上がりしたのが残念。
