Fukushima Pref. Koriyamashi Yasuharamachi Oyaji 130-2
This art museum is run by Koriyama City in Fukushima Prefecture. It has four major exhibitions: British art including Turner, modern Japanese art including Ryusei Kishida, works from artists hailing from Koriyama such as Yukimura and wood block printing such as book cover designs and so on. Exhibition contents are changed four times a year so visitors can see different works each season. There is a bronze statue in the garden which visitors can enjoy strolling around.

    Fukushima Koriyama-shi Kaisei 5-25-63

"This insect-themed science museum is located about 13 kilometers from Sukagawa Interchange on the Tohoku Expressway. It features hands-on exhibits that teach visitors about the ecology of insects, the ecosystem, and the fun of science. The museum offers a variety of programs that require a reservation such as their ""Field Work"" program, which includes activities such as nature observation and crafting items with natural materials. Other programs that do not require a reservation include the ""Mini Experiment Lab"" as well as live experiment shows intended to inspire interest in science. The Sukagawa Flight Academy, which features flight simulators that allow visitors to experience what it is like to pilot an aircraft, is also popular."

A multipurpose cultural facility made up of a library, art museum, local history museum, and the Oka Toshio Memorial Museum. Through actual materials, models, and pictures the local history museum will introduce you the history, nature, and lifestyle of Ono town. We also highly recommend visiting the Oka Toshio Memorial Museum where records and other materials will teach you about Oka Toshio, a lyricist native to Ono town.

Open in 1970, this was the first public museum opened in the prefecture. This facility in one corner of Midorigaoka Park has a permanent exhibit on the history and culture of Sukagawa, and holds temporary exhibits four times a year. The permanent exhibit of the Denzen Aodo Copperplate Print collection shows pieces by western-style copperplate printer Denzen Aodo, who was born in Sukagawa during the late Edo period. His major series, Copperplate Prints of Famous Scenes in Edo, are handmade copperplate prints depicting the daily life and work of the people of Edo. Aodo studied both copperplate print and Western art techniques, and his use of minute perspective and chiaroscuro earned him extremely high reputation.
