    Fukushima Minamiaizu-gun Shimogomachi Ouchi Yamamoto 32
    Located within the Ouchi-Juku, Minamiaizu, Fukushima Prefecture flourished during the Edo period as a post town on an important road connecting Aizuwakamatsu City and Nikko Imaichi City. The thatched houses lining the main road still retain the same appearance they held during the Edo period, and in 1981 the area was designated as a National Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings. This shop in the former post town offers traditional folk crafts and handmade soba. Popular items include their healthy wild vine and pomegranate juices as well as wild vine soft serve ice-cream, bettara- mochi dumplings, and more.

    暑い日差しを避けるためにふと立ち寄った店。蕎麦がメインの食堂ですが、甘味をいただきました。栃餅は結構大きく美味しかったです。かりんとう饅頭と揚げ饅頭も頼んで、地元の名物スイーツを全て食べたらお腹いっぱいになりました。 素朴で美味しかった。

    Fukushima Minamiaizu-gun Shimogomachi Yagoshima
    A shop selling fresh picked agricultural goods from the Minami-Aizu region, primarily from Shimogo Town. They offer a wide variety of goods from local processed goods to local liquors and sake as well as folk crafts and handicrafts. They also offer Aizu's endemic local Aizu-jidori poultry. There's also a restaurant where you can enjoy a variety of local dishes including 100% Shimogo Town grown buckwheat soba noodles, Aizu-jidori chicken curry, and a special trout burger made with the local specialty trout.

    国道121号 沿いにある、まちの駅です（道の駅ではありません）。 地元の農作物やお土産が陳列されています。 お蕎麦屋さんも併設されています。 今回は、向かいにある笹屋皆川製菓の倉村まんじゅう、そして花豆パイを買いました。
