"This rice shop specializes in rice from the Aizu region. Located along the bypass about a five-minute drive from Aizu-Bange Station, it sells genuine rice made with the blessings of nature and a high level of commitment. An early rice ""Mizuho Kogane,"" harvested in late August, is a mutant strain of Hitomebore rice. It is the earliest rice harvested in the year in Aizu, where the temperature difference between day and night is so great that it is said to be ideal for rice cultivation. It is sold in limited quantities and for a limited time because it is only grown by contract farmers. The ""ABK Koshihikari"" from Aizu-Bange Town, which is cultivated with particular attention paid to soil preparation, and the chewy ""Milky Queen"" are also popular varieties."

His favorite piano, make-up tools and records recall his appearance in those days. In the rest area, Kasuga's enka (traditional Japanese ballads) can be sung for free. The lone cedar tree that stands out on the site is the one that he sung about in his hit song ""Wakare no Ipponsugi"" (Farewell One Cedar). This song is played from the adjacent monument when a sensor is activated."
