It is a popular and famous cherry blossom viewing place when in the spring, about 1,000 Yoshino cherry trees are in full bloom. The exhibition room was completely renewed in 2015.

Mt. Seaburi, which rises to the west of Lake Inawashiro, is an approximately 870-meter mountain that separates the Aizu Basin from Lake Inawashiro. From the top of the mountain, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Mt. Aizu Bandai and Lake Inawashiro. Its distinctive name comes from the fact that in the past, locals who used to cross this mountain to go peddling or working in the mountains often bathed in the sun rising in the morning from the east and setting on their backs on their way home. The park has an athletic field and a campground in its vast 70-hectare grounds.
  • Futanuma Forest Park

Within the forest you'll find the Futanuma no Ukishima,a vegetation lowland wetland that has been unaltered and declared a natural memorial of Fukushima Prefecture. In the swamp, preserved in the state it was discovered, you'll find rare flora and fauna which offer valuable learning opportunities including forest green tree frogs, scarlet dwarfs, and white egret flowers. There are withered Japanese red pines scattered near the walking trails so take care when hiking.
