    A paid botanical garden adjoining Nanko Park in Shirakawa City, Fukushima Prefecture. Open each year from April to June, visitors can view tulips, German irises, and a variety of other flowering plants. The garden is visited by locals as well as large numbers of flower lovers from far and wide.

    This herb garden is in Listel Park, adjacent to Hotel Listel Inawashiro in Kawageta, Inawashiro Town, Yama County. They cultivate about 500 kinds of herbs on the 100,000-square meter site. You can see a variety of seasonal herbs and flowers when the park is open from late April to late November. They also have programs that let you pick rape blossoms, lavender, and other flowers. There's a shop and a cafe on site, and they hold events like a Rape Blossom Festival. Another highlight is the large wooden sculptures of the twelve signs of the Chinese zodiac that are scattered throughout the park.

    This botanical garden is located a 20-minute drive from JR East, Iwaki Station. Visitors can enjoy the diverse varieties of flowers planted on its massive roughly 260,000 square-meter grounds. Most notably, visitors can view rare tropical plants such as cacti and hibiscus at the garden's display greenhouse, one of the largest greenhouses in Iwaki City. The garden also has areas dedicated to camellia, plum, hydrangea, and rhododendron, the official flower of Fukushima Prefecture, respectively. Other facilities include the Children's Square as well as the Flower Life Hall, where the garden holds exhibits, seminars, and other seasonal events.

    A botanical garden located in Sukagawa City, Fukushima Prefecture. 10 thousand azalea plants large and small bloom on the garden's 33,000 square meter grounds. The scenery created by the park's two hills covered in azaleas is particularly popular. In addition to azaleas, visitors can also view rhododendrons, wisteria, irises, and Chinese peonies here. An entrance fee is required when the azaleas are in bloom but otherwise the garden is generally free.
