- This famous location is the only place in Japan where the North Latitude 40 and East Longitude 140 lines intersect. A monument has been erected at the intersection point and you can feel the span of the earth. North Latitude 40 also intersects with Beijing, Naples, Madrid, and New York. East Longitude intersects with Khabarovsk, New Guinea, and Kingston. This is definitely a location that you should visit.
