    A botanical garden located in the Taiheizan Resort Park in Nibetsu Mantarame, Akita City. On a vast plot covering 9.3 hectares they have 4000 plants covering nearly 250 species from the Akita countryside and you can take a stroll on the walking paths while participating in nature observation. The park also has a camp ground and exercise field.

    An art museum located inside the Akita Atorion building in Nakadori 2-Chome, Akita City. Their collection focuses mainly on pieces from local Akita artists and pieces in the Akita Ranga style of painting which originated in the mid Edo period and drew influences from Western-style art.

    "A park located in Inamisawa, Hamada, Akita City. Highlights include a plum grove planted with some 370 plum trees, a flowering tree grove primarily occupied by cherry trees, a fruiting tree grove, Japanese chestnut grove, and ""Tanjo no Mori"" forest where you can plant a tree to commemorate the birth of a child. Facilities include nature trails, tennis courts, a grass field surrounded by forest, and more."

Every Saturday in September, the park holds a ""Twinkle Anipa"" event and is open into the evening. The park is adjoined by the Akita Omoriyama Zoo."

    A quasi-national park covering nearly a third of Oga City's total area. Most of the areas to enjoy nature in the area are included in the park area including various mountains such as Mt. Kanpu, Oga-Sanzan (Mt. Shin-zan, Mt. Hon-zan and Mt. Kenashi-yama), Unosaki Beach which was chosen as one of Japan's top 100 coastlines, and the natural growing area of the camellia bush which is the northernmost place it grows and which has been designated a natural memorial.

    A museum where visitors can experience the folklore of Namahage, ogres which traditionally sit homes in the area on New Year’s to frighten misbehaving children. The museum, housed inside a prototypical magariya-style construction common to the area, stands next to the Namahage Museum, which is dedicated to presenting the history and culture of Namahage. Here visitors can take part in a Namahage folk custom class and experience the custom of Namahage, something otherwise very difficult for visitors to see outside of New Year’s Eve. The museum also displays traditional lifestyle tools and accoutrements used in the area. Be sure the purchase the money-saving joint ticket which grants access both to this museum and the Namahage Museum.

    今シーズンは初の秋田カントリー倶楽部でのラウンド、急遽でしたが。 こちらでは中華料理を頼むことが多いのですが諸般の事情もあり今回は稲庭うどんをオーダーです。 つやつやの稲庭うどんは喉越しも良く食べやすいです。 天麩羅もついてボリューム満点です。

    岩手県北上市に仕事があったので、「秋田の行事」を見たい一心で翌日に秋田市まで足を延ばしてこの美術館に行きました。2階でじっくり細かい描写を見て、3階のバルコニーから視界一杯に広がる絵に圧倒されました。藤田画伯の個性的な作品は彼の人生そのものだとあらためて感動しました。秋田を訪れたら是非訪れてください。

    久しぶりのゴルフ、真夏にやっぱりやるもんじゃないですね笑前半だけでもバテバテです。 ゴルフの楽しみはやっぱりランチ、名物のラーメンにしようかなとも思いましたが気になった信州白糸そばなるものを頼んでみました。 ミョウガなど薬味もたっぷりで喉越しも良いお蕎麦はバテ気味の身体に染み渡ります。一緒についてきたお稲荷さんもまたよしでした。

    1年越しに実施したキャンプ、今回はトレーラーハウスでの宿泊です。 トレーラーハウスの中は思っている以上に広くて快適。中にはＩＨ調理器具や冷蔵庫も完備されているので雨の日でも安心です。 施設の外ではのんびりバーベキュー、秋田市内から30分ほどのところにありますがのんびりできます。

    こちらの住所は五里合。ともだちがゴリアイと読んでいたのでここで訂正しておきます。これでイリアイと読みます。笑 会社の付き合いで横手からこちらのゴルフ場に来ました。なかなかに起伏があるコースが連続しており、戦略を練るのが楽しいです。帰りはおいしいお店がたくさんありますので、男鹿の幸を楽しんでいってはいかがでしょうか。
