    A well-known udon & soba shop in an old temple school building of a former samurai residence, in Kakunodate Town, Semboku City, Akita Prefecture. The specialties are a smooth rice plant udon using hinaijidori chicken or maitake mushroom, and locally-produced buke soba with buckwheat flour aroma bamboo shoot and beefsteak plant (macrophyll) tempura inside. It is a popular tourist spot for its exterior and interior that still retain the atmosphere of the Edo period.

    Excellent Oyako-don which is the best one in my life. Also Inaniwa udon with egg plant tempura is very good.

    "A soba noodle shop located in the ""Tazawako Ichi"" local goods shop in front of Tazawako Station in Mizushiri, Tazawako-obonai, Semboku City. They make 100% buckwheat juwari soba noodles using local Tazawako buckwheat. In addition to simple soba noodle standards including chilled morisoba and dipping zarusoba they also serve soba with Hinaijidori chicken or fried tempura. They also serve ramen for a limited period from the 22nd to the 24th of each month."

Popular choices include the “Jyuwari soba in two styles” —a limited-quantity dish of soba made using two different kneading styles, and “Kakunodate beni soba” —available only on weekends.

    裏通りをあるいていてそばを食べようかと思いましたが、 満席だったため、外ののぼりにあったソフトクリームを注文しました。 そばの味がしていて、ちゃんと作ってありました。 意外とおすすめです。

    A soba restaurant located in Iwase Town, Kakunodate Town, Senboku City. The restaurant serves handmade noodles made with carefully selected domestic husked buckwheat. As well as mori-soba (cold noodles) and kamozaru (duck and cold noodles) on the menu, they have sweetfish tempura with zaru-soba available in limited quantities, and on weekends and national holidays they serve 10 portions of their inaka-soba.

    ランチにて伺いました。落ち着いた店内で、ざるそばを頂きました。美味しい手打ちそば、そば湯も美味しかったです。

    ゴールデンウィーク中に訪れました。うどん屋さんの前で出店があったので、そちらでみそたんぽを頼みました。おこげの香ばしい香りがとても良かったです。前日、旅館で食べたきりたんぽ汁とも食感が違って面白いと思います。お餅ほど柔らかくないです。

    角館の武家屋敷観光用の大駐車場のすぐ近くにあるお蕎麦屋さんです。雪の中辿り着いていただいたのは日替わりのランチ天丼とお蕎麦のセットでしたが丁寧に作られたものと感じる温かく美味しいものでした。

    駅からだいぶ離れており、車でのアクセスがオススメです。国道沿い、駐車場あります。 店内は大きいテーブルの椅子席、と座敷ありです。 人気メニューは『肉そば』とっても良い出汁がでるんですよね、しないけどtそれが美味しい。 あとは一緒に野菜天も。いつも揚げたて熱々をいただけます。写真は野菜天そば(温)です。
