Visitors can also see the World Heritage Shirakami-Sanchi mountains from the beach, as well as Oga Peninsula in the distance. It is a popular spot to watch the beautiful sunset, and is also famous as the Sunset Beach of Kamayahama.

During beach season there are eight beach houses open for business and you can also enjoy beautiful scenery including Mt. Chokai, the Oga Peninsula, and the sun setting over the Sea of Japan.
