    This souvenir shop is located on National Route 45 in Matsushima Chonai, Matsushima Town, Miyagi County. It sells a variety of products including local specialties from Miyagi and the rest of the Tohoku region as well as Matsushima-themed Japanese-style sundries. The senbei rice crackers grilled by hand at the front of the shop have become one of its specialties. It is possible to buy them fresh off the grill or bagged.

    A local specialty products shop carrying goods from the Matsushima area. The shop's vivid teal exterior draws the eye. Inside, the bright, white shop is attractively filled with a variety of Matsushima products. Particularly popular are the Kakitokometo, senbei rice crackers created by pressing and frying together a whole Miyagi Prefecture-grown oyster with Miyagi Prefecture-grown Hitomebore rice flour. The Kakitokometobasilto, a seasonal version made by adding flavorful basil, is also popular. Some of the shop's many other products include tsukudani oyster boiled and preserved in soy sauce, tsukudani nori seaweed, and oysters pickled in olive oil.

    お土産やさんとしての利用をしました。床面積が広い＝かなり多くの種類のお土産物の取り扱いがあります。いろいろなお店で「買おうと思って悩んでやめたけどやっぱりほしい」と思ったものがまた置いてあるはず！とくに食べ物系のお土産の種類は圧巻でした。

    遊覧船の時間まで休憩しました。 牡蠣と思いましたが、時間が無かったのでスモーク牛タンとビールで1杯しました。松島ビールのバイツェンはほどよい苦味で飲みやすく美味しいです。スモークタンによく合います。 時間があったら牡蠣も食べたかったです。お店の雰囲気もお洒落で落ち着いてます。 次回機会があれば再訪したいです。

    歩道側では、こけし製造の実演が行われていました。ついつい見入ってしまい、つられて店内にも入ってみました。定番の土産物はどこでも同じような品揃えとなっており、それ以外の民芸品等々が特徴点と云えました。こけしには惹かれたものの、軽い気持ちで土産物とするには財布のひもが緩みませんでした。

    飲食店や土産物店が並ぶ一角に立つ店舗です。何でも揃う観光客向けの土産物店でしたが、店内は比較的余裕があり、ごちゃごちゃした感は無く、ゆったりと選ぶ事が出来ました。
