Fukizushi is a venerable sushi shop, founded in 1948, and located in Toraya Yokocho Alley in Kokubuncho, near Sendai Station. It takes great care to serve local food for local consumption, with fish from the Sanriku region, rice from Miyagi Prefecture, and locally produced sake. The restaurant takes special care with its famous Sendai Zukedon, a dish that originated there, a bowl of local rice topped with fresh local whitefish that has been marinated in a sauce made in-house. Customers can also sample a set meal that epitomizes the flavors of the Tohoku region; it includes rock oysters caught off the coast of Miyagi Prefecture and three kinds of local sake tasting set.

Kato is a sukiyaki restaurant located about two minutes on foot from Kita-Yobancho Station. The restaurant is managed by a meat shop from where a whole Sendai cow is purchased and the choicest parts of the meat are selected by professional chefs. Using a more than 50 year old secret sauce the sukiyaki is prepared and served to perfection. As well as their ‘Sendai beef first-rate sukiyaki’ of rib eye steak, Kato also serves other types of sukiyaki dishes such as their ‘Sendai beef fillet sukiyaki’.

すき焼きのお弁当を注文しました。冷めても柔らかいお肉と味の良い出汁の味付けがとても良かった。今度は温かいうちに食べたいとリピート計画です。店内で食べてないのでサービス面は評価できませんが、味はさすが専門店！でした。

The stylish and original bar that is OGGI DOMANI is a pay-up-front, stand-up style bar with restaurant where guests can enjoy a relaxed meal and an outside space for people to enjoy their drinks in the cool evening air. OGGI DOMANI is especially well known for its tapas. Their free drink set with tapas for three people is particularly popular. Customers are welcome to hire out the tables at the back of the bar to give a sense of privacy making it a perfect place for parties.

旧さくらの百貨店の裏側にあります。店の中がいっぱいの時は通路でも飲ませてくれます。ハイボールは１杯800円です。頼むとコースターがもらえ、２杯目以降500円とお徳に呑めます。オシャレにさらっと飲むには良いお店だと思います。

"Kikusui-an was opened in 1996 by ""Ocha no Igeta,"" which has been in business as a tea shop for many years since 1920. At this restaurant, where you can enjoy both meals and sweets, the deeply tasted matcha sweets that can only be created by a tea shop are popular. Founded in 1947, Kasho Sanzen is a sweets shop known for its “Hagi no Tsuki” —a famous sweet of Sendai. In addition to Hagi no Tsuki, this shop sells a variety of western and Japanese sweets—nearly 160—including Royal Terrasse, Aozashi, and famous Sendai treats like Date Komaki and Date Emaki. The namagashi named for the 24 divisions of the solar year is also quite delicious. About six minutes on foot from Omachi Nishi-koen Station on the Tozai Subway Line.

This coffee shop serves not only carefully-selected teas and coffees but also a good range of alcoholic beverages such as beer and cocktails. It frequently holds events in its arty interior such as live music performances and English conversation classes. The popular scones are also available to take away and there are many other sweet treats including chocolate cake and New York sour cream coffee cake. It is around ten minutes on foot from Kotodai Koen Station on the Nanboku Subway Line.

マンションの一階にあるカフェ。コーヒー、紅茶やケーキ、食事メニューが楽しめます。紅茶はごく普通の味でコダワリを感じられるものではなかったので500円は高く感じました。もう少し値段が手頃か、美味しいものにしてポットに多めに楽しめるといいかなと思います。フォンダンショコラは美味しかったです！楽器などのインテリアもおしゃれですが、少し清潔感がもう少しあるといいなと思いました。
