    A 20 minute drive from Tagajo Station on the JR Senseki Line. Influenced by a history of international exchange, this multipurpose complex was built as a space for cultural creation and makes use of natural terrain commanding a sweeping view of the Pacific Ocean. Facilities include the International Village Hall, the only performing arts stage in Japan with a view of the ocean in the background; and the Amphitheater, a 10 meter in diameter round outdoor theater positioned amongst pools of water. There are many ways for visitors to enjoy themselves here, such as a restaurant where you can take in a meal and a theater show; and Plymouth House, the only museum in Japan dedicated to the history of pioneering in the US.

    ホールの屋上へ海を見に行きました。 水を生かした屋外ステージがあったり、 ホールがあったりと、イベント会場なんですね。 コスプレ撮影会なんかもやってるようです。 何もイベントの無い日に、 まったりと静かに海を眺めるのに、お勧めしたい場所です。

    A Noh stage in TeraikeKanmachi, Toyoma Town, Tome City. It serves as a stage for Tome-Noh, a Prefectural Intangible Folk Culture and is built on the site of the former residence of the Tome-Date family's blacksmith. It was designed by architect Kengo Kuma to be a Noh stage that would blend with the surrounding nature and the stage's painted backdrop was done by Japanese artist Hiroshi Senju. There is also an exhibition room that displays Noh costumes and masks.

    仙台市内の仙台パルコ２にあるTOHOシネマズ仙台。 「スター・ウォーズ／スカイウォーカーの夜明け」を仙台の地で上映初日の2019年12月20日に見に行きました。 待望の作品。コスプレーヤーがたくさんいて大盛り上がりでした。 座り心地抜群の席で、しかも段差が高いので、前列に背が高い人が来てもそれほど影響なく画面が見れました。

    青葉神社通り沿いにある3スクリーンを有する映画館です。佇まいが一昔前の感じで落ち着きます。ラインナップも秀逸。ミニシアター系が多数を占めます。この日は、「茜色に焼かれる」を鑑賞。（観た時点で東北では、唯一の上演作品）とても良かった。スタンプカードを持参で大人1400円になります。映画館内の飲食は、自動販売機のカップドリンクのみといささか残念なところ。
