    This stadium that opened in 1950 is now home to the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles. Having adopted a system of naming rights, it has changed names several times over the years. Free stadium visit events are held for one to two days in a month during which visitors can tour the stadium free of charge. Behind the left side of Kobo Park Miyagi is a park called Smile Glico Park with a Ferris Wheel and merry-go-round. The stadium is a five-minute walk from JR Miyagi Nohara Station, and there is also a convenient shuttle bus from Sendai Station that only takes eight minutes.

    This is Miyagi Prefecture’s largest ski resort. It has 10 runs of different sizes including the Dynamic Course which is 4,300 meters in length with a difference in height of 700 meters. There are no snowboard restrictions. There is also a kids’ slope as well as ones for beginners. The resort plans events for each weekend of the ski season; a particular example is the snow fireworks display at the end of January. The resort is also used as a trekking course in the off-season. There is a taro potato stew party in September.

    小さい様で十分楽しめるスキー場でした。新雪を踏み荒らした後を滑って重たかったけど、蔵王温泉スキー場の帰りに寄った此処は流しながら滑るのに快適でした。料金も安く、食堂もそれぞれ頑張ってる感ありです。雪質は初めての事ですが何処も良し悪しは天候次第。今回は晴天で快適でした。終了は15：45早めだけど、利用者数からして当然。仙台からの若者が了解する手頃な場所でしょう。我旅人は再び訪れるかどうか判らないので...

    This ski resort is located on the southeastern slope of Mt. Izumigatake in Sendai City. You can reach it from the city center within an hour, and it has a view of the whole city. They have gentle beginner courses as well as an advanced short turn course that starts near the summit, and they offer discounted weekday tickets for women and a student discount. Their open winter season is from the end of December until March. During the green season it’s packed with visitors who come for water jumping and paragliding.

    仙台の市街地から最も近いスキー場。雪質やゲレンデ規模は劣りますが、アクセスの良さはやはり一番です。初心者や小さな子どもと一緒に行くにはちょうど良いです。

    A sports and activity facility located a six kilometer-drive from Iwanuma Station on the JR Joban Line in Iwanuma City, Miyagi Prefecture. Facilities include a forest where you can walk and take in seasonal wild flowering plants; a pool building with a heated pool and training room; a sports house building with a gymnasium and dance room; and outdoor tennis, futsal, and gateball areas. There's also a day trip artificial hot spring bathhouse and a restaurant offering a barbecue plan, ensuring visitors can spend a whole, fun- and activity-filled day here.

    A beginner- and family-friendly ski resort located 37 kilometers from the Shiroishi interchange on the Tohoku Expressway. The resort has six courses in total, ranging from the gentle Mama no Ue course, which has an average slope of seven degrees; to the Chuo powder course with a maximum slope of 37 degrees. Other highlights include a free sledding hill, events, and a baby care room, ensuring even families with small children can have fun here. The resort also offers guided snowshoe tours which include lunch open to people of elementary school age and older. Adjoined by cottages and a campground, the resort is a place where visitors can have fun year round.

    ゲレンデの上部は急なところもありますが下の方は凄くなだらかになっています。中盤あたりからスピードを落としてしまうと最後の方は途中で止まってしまう程です（チョット大袈裟かもしれませんが（笑））でもその位になだらかな斜面なので特に初心者や子供にはもってこいなゲレンデだと思います。

    This paid-entry sports park is in Aoki, Yumoto, Akiu Town, Taihaku Ward, Sendai City. The park features a general use ground, gymnasium, archery range, swimming pool and other sports facilities. They also offer auto camping, barbecue area, an Imoni-kai (meat and taro root soup making event) venue, and hot spring facility. In addition to a variety of barbecue and imoni-kai plans, they offer children's plans including bath entry and activity training.

    上の駐車場に止めたのは失敗でしたが、問い合わせの際に勧められたファミリーパックの利用で大変安価にすみました。プールも貸し切りで子供たちは大喜び。アーチェリーやパターゴルフは全員で楽しみました。またバーベキューも食べきれないほど。

In the restaurant “Shikine” you can enjoy dishes using the carefully chosen ingredients, and in the “Yakuseki Izumi no Yu” bath, guests can enjoy the effects of Himekawa Yakuseki (medicinal stones) on the bottom of the bath tub like a natural hot spring. It is approximately five minutes by car from Izumi Interchange on the Tohoku Expressway.

    北海道コンサドーレ札幌戦、アウェイ席が解放されていないこともあり今回はピッチレベルのシートに潜入しました。かなり間近で試合を見れる貴重な経験、堪能です。 中には１時間くらい前までは入れません、入ってからは飲食ができませんので席に入る前にいただきます。 残念ながらドローでしたが特等席で試合を満喫しました。

    This ski resort located on the northeastern slope of Mt. Izumigatake is a 40-minute drive from downtown Sendai City. During the winter they have night skiing every evening until 22:00, so you can drop by even after a long day. They have a diversity of 12 mostly intermediate and advanced level courses, with a combination of fluffy natural snowfall and their artificial snow providing stable conditions. Their snow park is the largest in Miyagi Prefecture and has a kicker and a variety of jib items.

    仙台市街から近いので気軽に行けるためやはり便利です。住居があるところまではそんなに雪も積もっていないのですが、山の北側に入るあたりから雪が深くなります。雪が降ったばかりだったので雪質もよく、楽しんでスキーができました。

    よく手入れされたリゾートコースです。ブラインドホールが多く初めてのセルフプレイで霧が出ていたので、ちょっと難しかったです。

    仙台市内に有り、今はゴルフ場周辺は住宅街となっています。コースは3コースありますが泉コースは住宅街に近いのもあり、一番はウッド系禁止パー4とパー3が３つの短めになっています。 練習場は40yと短いですが、泉コースに広めのアプローチ練習場がありました。どのコースもバンカーは硬めです。

    ソニー仙台FCの試合を観戦しました。 天然芝ピッチが2面、人工芝が1面を有する宮城県が所有するサッカー場。（ラグビーも可能）立派なスタンドがあり。JFL、なでしこリーグの公式戦も可能。駐車場も完備。 ただ、使用頻度が多いのか、芝生のコンディションが良くないのが残念なところ。

    高校野球観戦に行きました。 駐車場がありますがそれほど多くは停められません。野球場は、人工芝のグランド。両翼100mと大きく、内野の観客席は固定席です。近隣にはミニストップやみやぎ生協（スーパーマーケット）があり食料の調達にも苦になりません。
