    A tourist farm where strawberry picking is the main activity. They grow large Yayoihime and Sachinoka strawberries–with their nice sweet and sour balance–in large vinyl greenhouses. In addition to soil plantings, there are also hydroponic beds where you can harvest strawberries without bending over. Visitors pay the entry fee and enjoy all-you-can-eat strawberries without a time limit. They also sell strawberries to bring with you as gifts.
  • Shu Blueberry Farm

    This blueberry farm is located in Nakanarisawa, Aisari-cho, Kitakami City. It cultivates about 600 trees from more than 20 varieties of blueberry, and holds blueberry picking usually from around the beginning of July. In addition to lunch menu items such as roast pork shoulder stewed in blueberries, the cafe in the restaurant offers specialty coffee roasted in-store, desserts and blueberry juice.

    This strawberry farm is located in Machibun, Kitakami City. It cultivates strawberry varieties such as “OiC Berry,” “Beni Hoppe,” “Akihime” and “Koi Minori.” Besides being able to enjoy strawberry picking (reservation required) from late December to early June, they also sell strawberries at the direct sales store.
