"Approximately a 60-minute drive from JR Hachinohe Station, this historical site is located inside Kirisuto no Sato Park along National Route 454. A description stating ""Jesus, who was crucified on Golgotha Hill, secretly went to Japan"" was found in an old document called the Takeuchi Document in the Kouso Koutai Jingu Shrine in 1935, and it was called the Tomb of Jesus Christ after Takeuchi traveled to Shingo Village himself and discovered it. In the following year, it attracted a lot of attention with the discovery of Christ's will. On the right is Toraizuka with Christ's tomb, and on the left is Judaibo, the tomb of his brother. Isukiri"

Centuries-old stories of samurai at Kakunodate and the remains of millennia-old archaeological sites including the likes of Isedotai invite history buffs to delve into Aomori’s fascinating history. As the most northern prefecture on the Japanese mainland, Aomori enjoys a cooler climate, which makes it a welcome escape from the southern cities for combining castles, art galleries, and summer festivals with the great outdoors.
