Hirosaki Municipal Tourist Center provides tourist information by a tourist concierge, and various guide maps according to your destination. The displays of the decorated floats of the “Neputa Festival” on the first floor, and traditional crafts of Tsugaru on the second floor are also an attraction. There is also a local produce shop, restaurant, and bicycle rental service, so drop in before you begin exploring Hirosaki.

弘前城南側の観光施設です。土産物屋やレストラン、ねぶた等の展示も在りますので立ち寄ってみては如何でしょう。個人的には美味しいリンゴパイのお店を探すのに「リンゴパイマップ」が役立ちました。

A municipal facility opened in May 2004 which functions as information center, cultural exchange hall, and rest area. The center provides tourism and other information relating to the local area and also sells specialty products from Aomori Prefecture such as apple products; you can also get a light meal here. The facility also has a meeting room and studio (advance reservation and fee required), and computer booths with free internet access, and the center serves as a base for sightseeing activities in the Dote-machi neighborhood as well as a relaxation space for local residents.

A souvenir shop and restaurant located at the entrance to Oirase Gorge. As well as the Oirase Garden restaurant which serves food using ingredients from Aomori and the shop which sells Aomori souvenirs, there is a small market which sells seasonal fruit and vegetables making it the perfect place for all the things you’ll need on a stroll along the mountain stream.

奥入瀬渓流の入口、焼山にある道の駅です。奥入瀬渓流には小さな休憩所しかないので、渓流の散策前や散策後に、ここで食事をしたり、買い物をしたりするのがお勧めです。十和田バラ焼きなど、青森の名産が食べられます。

十和田湖湖畔、遊覧船乗り場のすぐ近くにあります。1階はビジターセンター兼観光案内の様な感じです。2階に上がると、乙女の像に関する高村光太郎さんや、大町桂月さんの説明パネルが展示され、見ごたえがあります。椅子もあるので、時間待ちや休憩にちょうど良いです。入場無料です。

A tourist information center operating out of the remodeled former Okutani Ryokan, in situated on the northern tip of the Tsugaru Peninsula which once accommodated literary master Osamu Dazai, world-renowned woodblock print artist Shiko Munakata, and numerous other prominent figures. Kept largely in the state it appeared during its heyday, the facility includes displays of priceless historical materials such as artwork by renowned personages from Aomori Prefecture.

龍飛集落で1999年まで営業していた旅館を再利用した観光施設です。観光案内所として利用できるのに加え、竜飛についての展示もあります。貴重な資料や写真を無料で見ることができました。

A rest house located on Cape Oma the northernmost point on the island of Honshu. The facility provides tourist information for Oma Town, distributes tourism pamphlets, and also sells a certificate providing proof of having visited the area. The facility has an observatory room with large floor to ceiling glass windows on three sides from which you can get a view of the island of Bentenjima, the Tsugaru Strait, and, on clear days, all the way to Hokkaido. Note that the facility is closed in winter (from November to April).

Board the Shimokita Kotsu Bus bound for Sai, and disembark at the Osai bus stop. The Tsugaru Kaikyo Culture Center is just a one-minute walk from there. On the first floor is an information center, an event hall, and a shop displaying and selling local specialty items. On the second floor is the Kaikyo Museum introducing the culture of the Sai Village, along with some restaurants and cafes, while the third floor is an observatory from which one can see the Tsugaru Strait and the mountains across the channel in Hokkaido. On a good day, dolphins and tuna can be seen swimming in the channel without even using binoculars.

行った日はたまたま「うに祭り」の日で賑わってました。うに丼が食べたかったのですが、完全予約制で食べることができなかったので、フードコーナーの「ちょこっと」で「うにぎり」を買ってみました。おおきなおにぎりは注文してから握ってくれて佐井村産のうにが入っていて、同じく佐井村産の岩海苔で巻いてあります。うにはもちろん美味しいのですが、岩海苔の歯応えがしゃくしゃくして絶品でした。

This tourist information center is adjacent to Noheji Station in Nakako, Nakano, Noheji Town Kamikita County. They provide brochures for tourist spots in the region. It has a break area, a refreshment corner, and a shop selling Noheji specialty products.

A facility which provides information on the nature, history, and culture of Iwaki. The facility contains informational panels with images as well as a large tapestry providing an overview of the Tohoku Nature Trail; visitors can also see terrain models of local nature trails and the Mt. Iwaki area. The facility also introduces local highlights, guided tours which traverse extensive portions of the area, and annual events. In addition, there's a footbath on the grounds which is a popular place to take a break and soothe away the aches caused by excessive walking.

足湯を利用できるとのことで行ってみました。硫黄の匂いがして期待が高まります。足をつけたら冷たかったです。季節が限定されるのかもしれません。

This is a tourist information center and local produce shop along the Omagoshi Highway in Honmachi, Ajigasawa, NishitsugaruCounty. Local seafood and produce, and such products as sasamochi and deli items like igamenchi are sold here. Adjoinging this facility is a small diner and a rest area. The Ajigasawa Sumo Museum and the Maenoumi Gallery displays sumo artifacts and memorabilia of Maenoumi, the famous hometown wrestler hero.

A tourist information center which can provide you with information on area activities such as farming experiences and picking fruits like cherries, peaches, Asian pears, apples, and grapes. In addition to fruit picking, the facility can also tell you about the blooming periods for Japanese apricots, apples, Asian pears, and other fruits; and activities such as apple pollination and flower picking. Although it may vary depending on how heavy the snowfalls are, the facility is generally closed in winter each year from November to late April.

This tourist information center for agritourism farms is located in Roadside Station Nango. You can experience picking blueberries, strawberries, cherries and apples in Nango, known for its fruit cultivation. You can find out how to register for these fun activities, as well as receive maps of the area and details of when the farms open and close. Please note that to book a place on this experience you have to directly contact each farm you wish to visit.

A tourism and cultural exchange facility created by remodeling the Matsuno Yu, a public bath beloved by local residents for many years. The facility still retains much of what it looked like during its golden age. In addition to a free rest area, city resident's salon, and tourist information center, the center has a nursing room, multipurpose toilet, and coin lockers. The facility is used as a base for tourism in Kuroishi City and by local residents of all ages as a relaxation space.
