    Aomori Hirosaki-shi Hyakkokumachi 18
Established in 2004 and relocated in 2013, this bakery is ever-popular. You can enjoy dining in a shop with a refined exterior inspired by the color white and a spotlessly clean interior that would rival any jeweler. The sweets, refined through years of practice, are as cute as anything, and the cakes are known to delight both the eyes and the mouth.

    弘前でも1,2位を争うケーキ屋さんですね。生クリームが上品なので好きです。ショートケーキとモンブランを買いました。幸せ気分になりました。

  • Noel de Hirosaki
    Gourmet / Alcohol
    Aomori Hirosaki-shi Shinakawamachi 2-2
This shop wants to utilize Aomori Prefecture's treasured apples in sweets. With that sentiment in their minds, this Western confectionary store creates sweets that are distinctive of Aomori. Their specialty apple pie has won the 2014 Aomori Brand Certified Product 2nd Apple Pie Contest Hirosaki Award. Butter and cinnamon are added to Tsugaru's fresh apples (Fuji) and baked with a decadent aroma.

    Aomori Pref. Hirosakishi Noda 1-3-16
This Western-style confectioner is located beside Kita-oh-dori Avenue along the east side of Hirosaki Castle. The showcase on the first floor exudes a bright feeling with white as a motif. In contrast, the second floor has an eat-in space, featuring a chic, grown-up atmosphere colored in black. Popular products include the apple pie, as one might expect from Aomori Prefecture—an apple paradise. The taste is great, and the volume has it hanging over the plate, so it’s known as a place where you get a good deal for the price.

Aomori Areas

around-area-map

Centuries-old stories of samurai at Kakunodate and the remains of millennia-old archaeological sites including the likes of Isedotai invite history buffs to delve into Aomori’s fascinating history. As the most northern prefecture on the Japanese mainland, Aomori enjoys a cooler climate, which makes it a welcome escape from the southern cities for combining castles, art galleries, and summer festivals with the great outdoors.
