    At this camping complex, you can enjoy the great outdoors of Shirakami to your heart's content. Outfitted with a variety of facilities, including campsites, cottages, a playground, and a hot spring bathhouse, the campground can also be used as a convenient place from which to base hiking around the Shirakami-Sanchi area. Many tourists can be seen soothing their aching muscles in the Anmon-no-Yu bathhouse after working up a sweat hiking.

    This activity-oriented flower garden is located in Towada City, Aomori Prefecture. Visitors can enjoy the sight of various wild grasses and flowers as well as lupine from late May to late June, Chinese peonies in early June, and irises from late June to mid-July.

    The Hakkoda Gourd Line walking course with its well-maintained trails and easy walking got its name from its calabash-like shape. There are two routes, one taking 30 minutes and the other taking 60, but both offer a wonderful chance to enjoy the wetland and alpine plant scenery. It’s relatively easy to walk, but make sure you wear comfortable shoes. It’s about 40 minute drives from the Tohoku Expressway Kuroishi Interchange to the Hakkoda Ropeway.

    An old Western-style structure located on the grounds of the Maritime Self Defense Forces Ominato District Command. A stately stone building built in 1916 as a social hall for naval officers, today the facility is used to display historical items and materials relating to the former Japanese Navy and the Self Defense Forces. The building has also been selected as an excellent example of architecture dating to Japan's Taisho and Showa periods.

The orchard also sells seasonal fruits for taking home and giving as gifts.

Built to be unsinkable, they are the safest boats in existence.

    A park situated on the short of Lake Ogawara, the 11th largest lake in Japan. The park contains numerous places for leisure, including an auto camping site, standard campground, beach (swimming only allowed in summer), and fishing zone. From late April to early May, the park is used as the main venue for the Tohoku Town Cherry Blossom Festival, and at night the park's cherry trees are lit up.

    A multipurpose facility and concert hall created to serve as a symbol of community development in Rokkasho Village. The facility hosts a library with a collection of 46,000 volumes on local history, culture, and other topics, as well as 3,100 audiovisual materials. There are also meeting rooms, training rooms, and a huge music hall designed for excellent sound which is used for concerts, plays, cultural education classes, and a variety of other events.

    This seaside park has been selected as one of the 100 most beautiful urban parks in Japan; in spring, cherry trees burst into bloom, while in early summer the blossoms of the wisteria growing on the park grounds are lovely. Park highlights include the Miyo no Matsu pine tree, designated a Natural Monument by the city, an avenue of pine trees, and stone monuments dedicated to poets such as Takuboku Ishikawa and Matsuo Basho, and visitors are particularly recommended to take a stroll through the grounds. The park also has a playground and small zoo area and is a popular destination for families with children.

All of the museum's vehicles have been lovingly restored by craftsman-not just their exteriors, but even their engines and other internal parts-and visitors can see the cars looking just as gallant as the day they were manufactured. The museum also has cars visitors can actually sit in the driver's seat, such as an experimental Formula Nippon racecar, and people of all ages, whether classic car fans or not, are sure to enjoy themselves.

    A lush athletic park located on a hill in the Minatotakadai neighborhood with a sweeping view of Hachinohe and the Pacific Ocean. The park's spacious, 18 hectare grounds are host to a baseball diamond, tennis courts, bicycle race track, track-and-field course, and other athletic facilities, and the park serves as a base for sports and recreational activities in Hachinohe City. The park is also famous for its beautiful cherry blossoms in spring and azaleas in summer, and many local residents use it as a relaxation space.

On sunny days, many people come here to have a picnic.

The park is also the location of several famous places such as the Tsurunomai Bridge, a wooden bridge which is the longest in Japan and which is also known for the legend of the lord of Shimizu Castle and Princess Shirakami.
