    A museum adjoining the Korekawa Site, a Jomon period archeological site which was designated a National Historic Site in 1957. The museum collects and displays archeological artifacts excavated in Hachinohe City. The museum uses informational panels and videos to present the city's Jomon period sites and contains exhibits features artifacts primarily from the Korekawa Site as well as a National Treasure-designated Dogu earthenware figure with its hands clasped in prayer. The museum also periodically holds special exhibitions focusing on a variety of themes relating to Japan's ancient Jomon period. The Kore Cafe museum shop and cafe sells goods such as replicas of the aforementioned Dogu figure and also serves light meals.

From the Toyota 2000GT to the Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost, Ford Model T, and Renault 35CV, the museum is filled with famous vehicles which stood at the cutting-edge of automobiles in their day. All of the museum's vehicles have been lovingly restored by craftsman-not just their exteriors, but even their engines and other internal parts-and visitors can see the cars looking just as gallant as the day they were manufactured. The museum also has cars visitors can actually sit in the driver's seat, such as an experimental Formula Nippon racecar, and people of all ages, whether classic car fans or not, are sure to enjoy themselves.

The park's spacious, 18 hectare grounds are host to a baseball diamond, tennis courts, bicycle race track, track-and-field course, and other athletic facilities, and the park serves as a base for sports and recreational activities in Hachinohe City. The park is also famous for its beautiful cherry blossoms in spring and azaleas in summer, and many local residents use it as a relaxation space.

The lush park area has a playground with a lengthy slides and other equipment modeled after famous locations in Aomori. There's also a natural grass lawn and splash zone with fountains where children can play in shallow waters, making the park a great place for families to enjoy a day outdoors. On sunny days, many people come here to have a picnic.

    This municipal park is located in Shirikama, Kohiradatenouchi, Tanabu, Mutsu City on land jutting into Lake Hayagake. Facilities include an outdoor stage, and it's adjacent to the Hayakake Lakeside Hill Camping Ground. It's a popular cherry blossom viewing spot with double-flowered cherry and Yoshino cherry, as well as late-blooming Gyoiko cherry. It hosts the Mutsu Cherry Blossom Festival in the spring. The park's also a good spot to view the colorful foliage in autumn.

    This overnight type auto campsite is inside the Tsugaru Earth Village, and just a 40-minute drive from the Namioka Interchange. This campsite is the pride of the Tsugaru Earth Village, which spreads all around the Shinkodoroku Dam, where one can leisurely enjoy real nature in all its magnificence. At the camp, a wonderful view of Mt. Iwaki, each of the sites has a parking space for a car, and has enough space to comfortably unload luggage and gear. The campsite is fully equipped with an outdoor kitchen, showers, and toilets. The site even provides the bounty of a vegetable garden in the center of the camp and visitors may freely pick from the garden for their own use.

    This museum is in the Nejo Castle Ruins, which is designated as a national historic site, along Shirahagi Line in Higashigamae, Nejo, Hachinohe City. There are four display halls, exhibiting specimens of archaeology, history, folklore, and intangible culture, covering Hachinohe's history and folklore from the Jomon Period through the Edo period. They also offer the Jomon Room full of activities and lectures, where you can touch Jomon potsherds and more to learn about history up close.

    It is located on the Central street with many buses stop nearby. Bus schedule is very frequent. There was a local market in the lobby when I visited. I bought many things with good price and high...

At the Shotokukan museum, the history of the horse breeding in the southern region and other equine culture materials and artifacts are displayed. A rest area with light fare adjoins the facility.
