It is open only from lunch and from the restaurant you can dine while enjoying a view overlooking the magnificent Tokachi mountain range. The extensive menu offers a selection of Western, Chinese and Japanese cuisine. A children's menu is also available and the restaurant is recommended for families with small children. The restaurant also welcomes day visitors, not only guests of the hotel.

    Restaurant Nord, located in Shimogoryo, Furano City, Hokkaido, is complemented by a wine shop. The wine made on site features a variety of grapes collected from all over the world and is only produced in small quantities. It is available to drink in the restaurant. Popular items on the menu are the classic Cheese Fondue and Furano Omucurry (rice omelet with curry sauce). The shop complete with wine barrel and white interior has an open, airy feel and high-class finish. The homely, cozy restaurant is also a popular venue for weddings.

    Kokage is a café-restaurant and gallery situated on a hilltop in Nakafurano, Sorachi district, Hokkaido. Kokage has a marvelous location with extensive views of the Furano Basin and soaring mountain peaks; visitors can enjoy different scenery depending on the season and the time of day. The interior design uses white as the basic color tone, creating a pleasant “natural” atmosphere. Kokage’s pizza—which is made using locally-produced cheese, toppings and other materials—is very popular, and gives diners the opportunity to enjoy a real “Furano” dining experience. Kokage also has its own gallery space, which displays and sells works by Hokkaido artists (changed on a monthly basis).

    食べたいものを注文しても、例の店主が「うちはてんぷらと豚丼がおすすめだからそれにしなよ。」と、これを断る勇気もなく、店主の言う通り天丼を頂いた。「ほら、だから言ったでしょ。美味いでしょ。」と、どや顔の店主。皆さんも試しにかけうどんを注文してみて下さい。同じ体験が出来ると思います。
