    This shop is located on the main gate of Asahiyama Zoo, opposite Totori-no-mura, in Higashi Asahikawa Town, Asahikawa City, Hokkaido. They sell original souvenirs associated with the Asahiyama Zoo, such as stuffed animals, various goods, and sweets. There’s also a food area in the shop offering easy-to-eat snacks such as Hokkaido-style soup curry and curry udon. The wide aisles in the shop make it easy to access for wheelchair users and parents with strollers.

    正門shopという通り、入ってすぐ左手になります。いわゆるお土産やさん。（食堂もありました）マスキングテープやキーホルダー、お菓子といった動物園のオリジナルグッズが多数あります。

    This shop is located close to the chimpanzee house of Asahiyama Zoo, in Higashi Asahikawa Town, Asahikawa City, Hokkaido. In addition to souvenirs such as original animal-style cookies and stuffed animals, they also sell goods designed by picture book writer Hiroshi Abe. They also have a food area which serves light snacks. Their 100% raw milk soft ice cream is particularly well liked. You can also find an adjoining gallery space too.

    Based on its theme of ‘Asahikawa is brimming’ and located just next to the east gate of Asahiyama Zoo, Tail’n Tail is a shop which sells a whole range of Asahikawa souvenirs and original Asahiyama Zoo products. As well as fancy goods such as stuffed toys and straps, the shop boasts a wide range of Asahikawa souvenirs including confectionery and other delicacies, and local sake. Their soft ice cream with real cow’s milk, butter candy, and Taisetsu local brew beer are popular here.

    CRAFT-BROWN BOX is a craft shop and gallery located in Kita no Arashiyama, an artists’ village with an atmosphere reminiscent of Karuizawa and its holiday villas, while also having a pronounced seasonal feel. CRAFT-BROWN BOX displays and sells works by local craftspeople based in the Asahikawa area. In CRAFT-BROWN BOX’s showroom, amidst the fragrant scent of wood, there is an impressive array of exquisitely-made pieces of furniture and smaller decorative objects; just wandering around looking at them is an enjoyable experience in itself. It is possible to have existing works customized in line with your personal preferences or ideas.

    The Asahiyama Zoo's official shop. The shop carries a wide variety of official merchandise. In addition to animal books and other merchandise, the shop stocks more unique selections, like a commemorative book celebrating the zoo's 50th anniversary and an animal journal which you can complete by pasting your own photos from the zoo in it. There are capsule toy vending machines in the store which sell Capsule Zoo animal figures created by the renowned figurine company Kaiyodo. The shop's exquisite polar bear, spotted seal, and penguin stuffed animals are particularly popular with children.
